We leave in 4 days & we were hoping to have some nice warm weather...its below zero here & I was hoping for at least 70's in FL....

I'm right there with you! It was -20 on my way into work this morning and I leave for the Florida sunshine in 10 days!!! Not soon enough!

Yes, it's mighty cold here too and windy....I would like some more snow...We had one day last week and the temp. was 48.....and now it's back to the deep freeze.

I am from a cold climate to ( WI) but you know what?
i am not going to grip one bit
When was the last time you felt 70's at home???
Personally, it has not been that warm in my city since October 2008.
SO it's going to feel like a treat no matter what

I personally, am looking forward to seeing DRY ground, green grass, palm tress and clean cars.
So if it's 40 and sunny, it's 100% better than anything at home.

ETA: i would complain if it gets over 85 while we are there. I hate heat.

Coming from the frozen north (Canada), I totally agree with Misty89. The snowbanks are taller than I am right now (over 5'2"), and the weather has been so cold that the schools aren't allowing the children to play outdoors for recesses. It's been like this for weeks.

Just getting a break from shovelling snow and struggling with snowsuits will make this whole trip worth it!

Right now it is 14 degrees here too(6:30am). We leave today at 3pm, when the kids get out of school and will start our drive........tomorrow it is suppose to be 60 in Disney-woohoo
