It's been too long since we have seen the mouse.. time for a trip or 3???

okay please be gentle while this is not our first trip to wdw it is my first pre trip report! lol I will try and keep this updated

Trips planning:
husband and sons surprise birthday gift (birthdays are 4 days apart) 1 night at Aulani in September .. (we live here on Oahu) this trip will just be the 4 of us

Kids christmas present (they have NO idea!!) - WDW Jan 21-28, 2013 (wont arrive till 22 due to time differences and the long long long flight ugh lol) this trip will just be the 4 of us .. all stars music with dining plan

Dec 2013 Dates to be determined yet due to moms projected time off cant be done until late october... this will be ALL the cast above for 1 week WDW first whole family vacay will be my brothers college grad gift


whew.. can you tell i have my work cut out for me?? btw ALL 3 trips are a SURPRISE for the kids!!!

YEAH!! my order from disney store came in today!! got some shirts for all of us to wear on our Jan trip on clearance!! these will be put away and wrapped up as gifts at christmas

Got Aulani all booked and paid. now just to figure out how to surprise the hubster..



oh and here is the cast (well all but mom and brother) this was taken about a year ago when hubby surprised the kids at the University of Hawaii Football game halftime via the Lifetime tv show Coming Home

really trying to fight the urge to make a trip binder.. right now everything is hidden under my bed in a boring folder.. I did get a planning app but its not cute and disneyish enough for me.. wonder if i can sneak make one late at night while everyone is sleeping...

reveal 1 done.. well to hubby at least... kids find out friday we are going to Aulani in September Can't wait to see their faces!! even if it is just for 1 night lol!! I hope it curbs any thought of going to disney as the jan trip and dec trips are still a surprise!! also hope disney hurrys up and announces if there will be free dining in jan when we will be there.. it would sooo help the pocketbook if so.. currently we are spending every night watching some type of disney movie yah i am a freak like that but the kids are loving it!! even my almost 14yr old
Got my mom started looking at menus for the dec 13 trip... this gives her PLENTY of time to figure out where she wants us all to eat

I have also been reading a lot just finished The Key to the Kingdom .. loved it!! and now I have started the hidden mickey series.. I am on volume 2 of that one.. its not as good as TKTTK but its still good.. I have my daughter listening to kingdom keepers on audible as well

i know my pre-trip reports are not very interesting lol.... I need to start figuring out the scavenger hunt clues and gifts (going to get a gift at each stop) for the christmas day reveal for our jan trip my 14yr old is really good at putting 2 and 2 together.. and i tell ya its hard to keep him in the dark on anything.. he picks up on every little thing! I have to make it hard for him but easy for my daughter.. hmmm

well hubby decided that since he got an ipad for his birthday we should wait and reveal Aulani to DS and DD on Tuesday for DS birthday instead of doing it for hubbys birthday.. SSSOOOO now the wait is on.. I might cave and do it monday night since hubby will be at work all day tuesday lol.. aaaaahhh i think all these secrets are getting to me lol!!!

next week I will make our ADR for the Jan trip..
