its been asked alot but where are the stores close to DL

There is a Target on Harbor Blvd, McDonalds ,Albertsons and Costco on Katella.

You can take the ART trolley to Target. Food for less is about a mile from GCH. Don't try to walk it like I did. You will definitely need a cab or car to get there. Turn left out of GCH and go to the light. Turn right and keep going(not sure what the street is but it's a major intersection). FFL will be on your left about a mile down. It's in the parking lot with a Taco Bell(if memory serves me). FFL is like Save A Lot, a no frills grocery store.

There is a Albertsons on Katella.

Just a heads up for those who might use it. Albertson's is closing a number of their stores including 18 in southern CA. According to the LA Times, the one on Brookhurst and Katella is closing. I don't know if this location is the one you are talking about. Unless there is one closer to DL - I can't imagine two Albertson's so close together.

I don't know the exact date but the one closing where I live in Oregon is closing the end of Nov. this year.

If your husband is only buying beverages, there is a 7-11 on the corner of Katella and Harbor. They sell cases of water, lots of sodas, snacks, and also some sundry items. If he will be buying a lot of things, he could get a cab or you could go with him and split up the shopping bags.

The Target is about a mile south of the parks on Harbor. Don't know the exact ART route number, but it is the one for the Embassy Suites Garden Grove, the Sheraton Garden Grove, and the OC Hyatt, which are right across the street from Target.

ty naw he will get a few more things like dinner our first night there too, and the art bus will work fine ty we will find the rout number i think its rout 1. he can catch it at the park, take it down haror and then back to park catch rout 7 to hojo walk to our hotel thanks tho

Food-4-Less is the closest grocery "style" store about 3 blocke west on Katella. Kinda ghetto though.... Go durring the day if you must.

Good to know about Target being on the ART. I've shopped there before but we are making our first car less trip to DLR early next year.
