It's been an exciting day!

Our Disney tickets arrived this morning! Woohoo!
And in the same post - a Misty Mate! Much recommended on these boards, but not easy to find in the UK; I got mine from someone in the US on eBay. Doncha just love eBay? (Except it's costing me a fortune: must work out how to make some money from it one day!)

And a box of DVDs for my camcorder: enough for 30 minutes a day (that's 10.5 hours of video. Longer than LOTR!)
As I say, it's been an exciting day!

And a phone call this morning to say our flight tickets etc will be arriving by registered post tomorrow!
You don't think I'm getting too carried away with all of this, do you? (That's what DW thinks after I owned up to buying 100 glowsticks on eBay for the evening parades and fireworks!)

Poet: I'm not sure I'd be allowed to spray you with cool mist on the plane - you'll have to make do with a cold drink from the trolley - but if you find yourself in any of the same queues as us, feel free to ask for a go! (There's an offer you don't get every day!!)

DH is of the same mind as your dw, thinks dibb mania has taken over !!!!Been thinking about getting some glo sticks myself to spread some magic in the queues/lines!!
Have you got a DIBB pin or do you not visit the dibb (disney information bulletin board?) Simililar to the DIS but uk based.
My disney tickets came yesterday too from ticketmaina , feel like the parents on the advert!!!!!!!

Poet: yes, I am a DIBB-er as well as a DIS-er - are we allowed to say that over here? (There's been a recent thread on the DIBB about the relationship between the two boards, don't know if you've seen it?)
On the DIBB, my user name was shortened to Stratocastermag - not quite as good as Stratocastermagic. (A Fender Stratocaster is the model of guitar I own and love, if you're unfamiliar with the word!)
I don't have a DIBB or DIS pin, but look out for three long-haired teenagers (DS 16 and 13, and DD 11): I'll be sitting at the other end of the plane to them! Well, not quite - but as I'm not keen on flying (at least the taking off part), I'll be the one sitting very quietly, just waiting for the Gin and Tonic to arrive!

I didn't know if you were aware that the colour of the DIS is lime green. So you could wear anything lime green to show you are a DIS member whilst in WDW.

It is great spotting fellow DISers whilst in line. I did just this at Donalds Breakfastaurus and met a lovely American DISer. When I shared a Magic Kingdom Cruise last year, Stacey an American Diser that organised the cruise had a lime green DIS Fanny Pack so we would be able to spot her at the Wilderness Lodge.


Have a look here at the DIS Shop for other Lime green things.....luggage tags, buttons, shirts and lanyards. I had great service from Dorothy at the DIS Shop, my goods arrived in a matter of day's. Now I have a luggage tag, lanyard, button and water wallet which I got when I signed up to be a site sponser

I'm working on getting a T-shirt printed with my screen name on - Stratocastermagic - but using the font from Spectromagic! DS says he can do it! (Obviously, I won't be wearing the same shirt for the whole holiday... )
