It's been a stressfull experience

Hello everyone. After planning my first cruise vacations ever, I was ready to book today. I was going to do it through the DCL website. However, at the time of booking, the website told me that my stateroom selected was no longer available. I had to start all over again, making some modifications to my plans. Now, I was going to book air travel with a complimentary stay at Hyatt as well. When I tried to look for that it told me that option was no longer available. I got pretty frustrated at this point. I decided to call their reservation line and deal with a live agent. The lady told me that indeed, the Hyatt was fully booked, but that she could place me on a waiting list, and there was a fairly good chance that I got in. Has anybody had this issue? If so, how long does it takes for them to confirm you?
