It really does and so much has changed. apps, magical express, magic bands...I have so many questions.

We are planning to meet my son and family we are splitting our trip starting out at POR & ending at Yacht Club. My question is on the way from POR on our way to Epcot where should we eat breakfast? I heard the breakfast at POR isn't that great. What would you suggest? I don't really want to go out of the way of the path to Epcot from the hotel, but would like a nice breakfast before we eat lunch in Epcot at 2.

I'm so excited to be going with my DS, DIL & 3 grandchildren, and my husband of 2 years...it's like a dream come true!

Either just eat at POR or in Epcot, or one of the Epcot resorts. There are a couple of buffets with characters and you can walk over to Epcot when you’re done.

You could get breakfast in Sunshine seasons in Epcot (it’s in the Soarin Building) it is a counter service place with lots of seating)

I second sunshine seasons at Epcot or you can go straight back to France and grab a yummy pastry!

I'm really happy for you - sounds like you're ready for this to be an amazing vacation and it's so nice you'll all be together for it!!

You say you'd like to have a nice breakfast before lunch at 2, which I'm guessing is a seated lunch. If you really have to have a "nice" breakfast (which I'm reading as more than just grab-and-go), I'd also recommend the patisserie in France - it's great! But the park opens at 9 and then you schlep the whole way back to France and get your food and stuff and then by the time you're done it's maybe 10. And four hours later you're having lunch, which might not be done until well after three.

And so by 4pm you've committed a lot Epcot park time (where you haven't been in 14 years) to eating.

I can't tell you NOT to want to have a nice breakfast, but we never sink any time into breakfast and my first recommendation would be to consider also not making time for it. Do something simple. Granola bars. Grab-and-go from the resort to eat while waiting for the bus (or driving). Something like that.

That's my take.

Now, as @Tigerlulu kind of referred to - the Beach Club has a great character breakfast. You could do that earlyish and then walk right over to Epcot (10-minute walk) when you're done. I mean, if you were thinking of a character meal on this trip, maybe that's where you could have it.

I second grabbing something at sunshine seasons. They have lots of good options for breakfast. And if you need a snack before lunch a little later, then definitely stop in France for a pastry. So many good choices.

It's pretty hard to screw up breakfast so I would eat at your resort before you leave if you want to have enough time between eating breakfast and lunch. You can get omelets, traditional breakfast, pancakes, mickey waffles - pretty much what you would get anywhere else.

ok, We decided to eat at POR for breakfast early! Thanks for the info everyone
