:woohoo: We are finally heading back to Disneyworld! I am over the moon! :cheer2:

Our first trip (DH :cool2: & DD 2 princess: & me :cloud9:) was back in Sept/98 when we were on a family reunion :grouphug:. There were 30 of us and we did a week at WDW and then off for a 3 day cruise on the Disney Magic. It was such a short time for us and we didn't get to see everything that we wanted to :sad1:. I told myself that I will come back when my kids are tall enough to ride everything (since I love rides and had to do the kid switch with hubby). Well, fast forward 10 years! Now my DD who was 2 at that time is now 12 and we have another DD who is 7 - she finally grew enough that we can go on all of the rides! :yay:

So, in May/09 (23 short days away), DH (?), DD 12, DD 7 and myself will get to see Mickey again. Mind you, we have been to Disneyland 3 times over the last few years but Disneyland is not Disneyworld ;). We will be at the CBR (pirate room pirate:) and looking forward to it after reading all the posts. We booked our trip back in Dec/08 and I have been planning on and off. But now that the time is almost here, I am trying to get all my things in order. :thumbsup2

My girls and I are very excited :mickeyjum to go on this trip but hubby is not a Disney guy and doesn't like crowds!:crazy2: But he is doing this for the family which I love him for! :lovestruc If you knew him, this is one big sacrifice on his behalf! He is the type that would rather :fish: so I booked a Bass fishing trip at Bay Lake just for him (and us too). We are also celebrating an early DD 12's birthday, she will be turning 13 and DD 7's first visit to Disneyworld! :bday::wizard:

Still working on our itinerary but will keep you posted! :flower1:

Glad to read your PTR!!! I also agree that it's much easier if you have kids that are a little bigger.. I told my kids we won't go to WDW with anyone under the age of 4...so my girls waited and waited and quickly reminded me on my son's 4th birthday that it is time to go back to the World!!!

Are you doing the DDP? Have you made ressies? I had my itineraries planned for the last 4 months..you're smart for waiting till closer to departure time, because I've been obsessed with Disney planning since January and my house is suffering the consequences!!!

Our trip is May 6-13 and we're staying at ASMu family suite...
I cannot wait and sort of wish we booked 10 days instead of 8...not sure if we're really going to be able to do and see everything we want...

I'm looking forward to hearing more details about your trip!!! Have fun planning!!

Yes, we are on the QSDP. Since this is our first time in such a long time, we decided that we didn't want to be tied down to TS. Our family tends to keep crazy hours when we are on holidays and like to eat when and where we like. The only reservation that we have is at CRT for lunch ... thought that we can get pics of the princesses without chasing them all over! princess:

I am in the process of making my itinerary which will not be set in stone. I just wanted to have our days planned with the parks that we wanted to visit and depending on crowds, weather etc., we can always switch things around. I have been reading and reading everyone's opinions and advice so much that I am becoming obsessed too! But it really feels good to meet and talk to people who feel the same way I do about a Disney vacation. So, thank you for taking the time to read my post! ::MinnieMo

We have 10 days booked and I don't think that it is even enough for me! I know that we won't get to see and do everything but there is always next time (I keep telling myself that). My DD7 and I are already planning for our next trip ... now that is crazy! :rotfl:

19 days to go! :cool1:

We went to Walmart this weekend and picked up last minute items like toothpaste, hand sanitizer and rain ponchos. Wish that I could find some cheaper rain ponchos at the Dollar stores but haven't seen any. Didn't want to bring our old Disney ones, kind of bulky. :)

Spent the weekend (in between being a Mom) pouring over our plan of attack at WDW. I seem to have Disney on the brain, every thing I say has to do with something from our upcoming trip. My family thinks that I am going crazy! :crazy2: I would look at our daily agenda for which parks to go to and then have second thoughts. I know that I should just wing it but I am one of those indecisive people, I guess. So here is our plan so far:

Day 1 - Epcot, my youngest DD wants to go here first before MK, got me there? I thought that all kiddies want to go to MK first! :confused3

Day 2 - Hollywood Studios - check out TSM (everyone is raving about this and just want to see what all the fuse is about)

Day 3 - MK - finally ... this is one of my favorites. Have BBB booked for the girls before our lunch at CRT princess:

Day 4 - Animal Kingdom - youngest DD and I can't wait for Everest!

Day 5 - Bass fishing in the morning:fish: , Blizzard Beach and maybe head to one of the parks in the evening

Day 6 - Epcot again, just because

Day 7 - Typhoon Lagoon and MK (?) - depending on the crowds

Day 8 - Pirate Adventures for DDs, while DH and I relax over breaky. Maybe head over to MK or HS (Star Wars weekend) - this depends on the crowds too

Day 9 - Animal Kingdom again (?) or Blizzard Beach (?)

Day 10- - MK - meeting up with friends who have little ones that would enjoy MK more than the other parks.

We have the park hopper plus water park tickets so we can basically move our agenda around if we have to. I know that we won't see everything but still trying to make the most out of our vacation. :thumbsup2

I found your PTR!!!

Your itinerary looks great.:thumbsup2 I can't wait to hear what you think of the water parks. We had originally planned on visiting both... but we had a change in plans and now aren't going to either. BBB looks like so much fun and I love that your DD wanted to go to Epcot first.:rotfl: That's my kind of kid!

I'm also looking forward to hearing your thoughts on CBR. We are staying there on an upcoming trip and I think it looks like such a beautiful resort. Congrats on snagging a pirate room!pirate:

Finally figured out how to load some pics ... here are some from our pre-planning stage.

Pic of the pack that I plan to carry in the parks ... shouldn't be too hard on the back! Don't have a stroller this time so this will have to do.

Items that will be in the pack ... not including $, room keys and water.

DD (7) dresses for the parks ... she is wearing the Cinderella one at our CRT lunch. Got these on Ebay and they don't seem to be the 'scratchy' ones because she has been wearing these around the house. Hopefully, she will keep the dress on for the day! princess:
