Hi, I was just wondering how long it took from the time you won and when Disney contacted you? Winning a disney trip is any disneydreamers DREAM!

I won!! Omg, I'm in shock and I can't stop shaking. I got the email about an hour ago. I really thought it was a scam but everything checked out so I sent my info and I got the email back with the affidavit. Now my problem is that there's 6 people in my family.

Do you have any sense from the emails as to if they would call you if you didn't respond to the email? I have entered every day that the system let me, but lost my email address by mistake. Comcast is telling me it could be up to 3 days before it is fixed and I am so afraid that I will miss an email.

I don't know what day I was the winner for but I'll ask. Now that I looked at the email again I see that in the subject line it says Jan 10 in parenthesis so maybe I'm the January 10th winner. I'm not usually one to write trip reports but I'll be sure to write at least a short one this time. I'll also lug the big camera along with me which I don't usually do so I can hopefully get some good pictures. The email didn't mention anything about them contacting me by phone so I don't know if they would. Sorry if I missed any questions.

I have submitted the paperwork and received my "You are a winner" email. We are now waiting to hear from Disney properties to schedule the trip. WOO HOO!!!

What a coincidence that last year the first winner posted they won on 01/21 and the same thing happened this year! Hopefully a bunch of us starting getting emails saying we are winners soon. It sounds like they are only up to notifying the winner up through the 10th so there are 21 of us winners still left to get notified (I'm staying hopeful!!!)

I got my first "potential winner" email on Jan 8th. My mailbox gets so full that I did not see it until the 10th, 4 hours before the deadline to respond or be disqualified and an alternate potential winner would be chosen. I am a bit on the jaded side so I researched on the web to see if I was being scammed, everything looked good enough to send the initial information they were requiring. However, I did not tell my family for two days, who wants to look like an idiot? But when the follow up email came with the affidavit attached, I had to let my husband know so he could look a bit deeper. So, long story long, he gave me the assurance I needed to send the paperwork and I got my official, "YOU ARE A WINNER" email!!! Now we are waiting for someone from Disney Parks to contact me to set the trip!!!!!

Keep in mind, though one winner was chosen for Jan 10 and just notified today, she may have been selected as an alternate if the previous winner did not respond in time. Since the Jan 4 winner was notified Jan 8, it doesn't seem like they are too far behind, but maybe they have fallen further behind now!

Let's hope so! It gives us all more time to watch our emails!!!

That's a really good point about the alternate...and I was hoping RealitytoFantasy was going to say she just got her email today as well, but if she won the 4th and got her email the 8th that doesn't seem behind at all! Oh well, still a couple weeks to go ��

I have been getting bad news and taking hit after hit lately..each night I enter I close my eyes and make a wish as I press enter....I know every one had struggles and issues in their lives but this would really make my year !!!!
