It's Back-January Trip-A-Day Contest!

Another sweeps that I haven't seen posted here: http://parks.disney.com/super-summer-sweeps

The catch is that the trip has to be taken from 5/21-5/25.

I saw that but went ahead and entered anyway. I'd go by myself if I had to.

The rules say you have to be between the ages of 8 and 18 or a parent of a child 8 to 18. That's the only reason I'm not entering I'm too old and have no kids. I wish the age limit wasn't there. I don't think it's fair to put an age limit on it. I wouldn't want to meet the Disney Channel stars, but would love to stay at the castle and go to WDW. >:(

Congrats to the latest winners!! Sound likes they are still finishing up the last of the alternate draws, if so hoping a DISer will win the Grand drawing sometime this week :)

Also I think that the Disney/Smuckers winner will be picked this week....Good luck to all of those who sent in their pics :)

Ah, my kids are too young for the summer sweeps one. That's alright, I really don't care to meet the Disney stars. lol

I have not been able to access my email (yahoo) for at least 24 hours now. I didn't really concern myself with it yesterday, figuring it would be back up this morning, but now it's this morning and I still can't get into it. I tried all of their suggestions and even downloaded a new freakin' browser and it's still not working. They have no support people to contact. I'm pretty ticked off. Watch me get a winning email and I can't get in there for a week.

But did you see the rules - you have to be between 8 and 18, or the parent/guardian of someone that age. I'm bummed because DD is just under 7 and would go crazy to meet Ross Lynch in addition to staying in the castle! I don't think a day goes by that we don't watch Austin & Ally.

Thank you for the GMA contest! My kids are too young for the Summer Sweeps contest too. :(

Another Monday, another day of entering every Disney contest I can find. I have thrown in a couple others just for good measure. WW is DVR'd for the week.

Ready, set, go!

I wonder how many Disboarders are entering the Disney proposal sweepstakes at the Disney website:

"If you’re Disney lovers in love, today is your lucky day. We teamed up with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and Disney Style to launch the Ultimate Disney Proposal Contest, where you can enter for the chance to win a custom proposal at Disneyland or Walt Disney World! All you have to do is head to the Disney Applause app on iOS or Android and upload a video telling us why you should win the ultimate Disney proposal. The lucky winner will receive a five day, four night trip to either the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, tickets to the Park, and a Disney Fairy Tale Weddings proposal package including the help of an engagement planner to create and execute a custom surprise proposal! And don’t delay—the contest ends on February 27! Check out the official rules for more details."

If you are planning to propose, you might want to try this one!

I am so encouraged that people were still getting e-mails late last week! Congratulations to everyone who has won!!! This board totally keeps the hope alive. :)

Not planning on entering this one myself, just sharing for others who may qualify. :) My kiddos are too young and we wouldn't be able to go during the specified dates. I don't like that they limited kiddos ages, though. Your DD is a great example of why.

Our kids are the same age! DD will be 7 in April and DS 5 in May.

Hmmm wonder if we can fake it and/or my husband can propose to me again ane we can remarry. LOL
I'd like a flashmob in Magic Kingdom proposal!!!
You know the kind where people are dancing and they make you walk all around and the crowds just part and there on the steps of the Castle is my husband getting down on one knee and telling me I'm the most awesome woman in the world and he wants me to be his forever princess. Gives me not only a beautiful mickey shaped diamond ring, but a beautiful tiara also, with real diamonds. And then Cinderellas coach pulls up and the flash mob continues as we drive around the parade route and wave at people.

Just sayin'

Oh I have to tell you all this after that other insane post.
My husband and I used to help with Marriage prep for our church, predays of personal computers and me having a clue how to use an editor.
So DH, after I wrote my parts of our presentation, took it to work and typed the presentation in. Well silly me didn't proof read and when we got to a part in the presentation, I'm reading along my parts and what he had typed in was something like this
"So many of us woman have the dream of being a princess and having prince charming come along and ride off with us into the sunset, but all I got was the horse!"

My reaction before I read it was to turn and punch him. Of course no one knew what was going on and the other people presenting were insulted that I would do this. Ya in the end it was funny but ...............

Thanks... any previous winners know how long it takes between questionnaire and Disney confirms?

It has now been 15 days since we returned the questionnaire and still haven't gotten a confirmation with dates from Disney. The Disney email said we had until Feb 27th to return the questionnaire, so I wonder if they won't confirm until they gotten most of the questionnaires back?

Congrats to the new (new since I last checked the thread) winners! pixiedust:
