But he's been drifting back to the books lately. He used to read a lot when he was younger.

A funeral?

I'm sorry to hear that.

Our classic car mechanic passed away last week. He was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year and evidently had one heck of a tumor. He never went to the Doctor until he went in for the diagnosis. He helped us out with our Garage Sale last summer, that might have been the last time we saw him, but he tried not to let people know how bad off he really was.

His wife said the last three weeks went really fast, and he declined very quickly. He was a really nice guy, and we fronted him a lot of money.... Not that we regret it, but puts everyone in a strange sort of situation.
