It's ALL about the FOOD! An October 2012 PTR! - Trip Report Started.

I'm so excited the F&W menus were released! Not too many changes from last year, however I did notice 2 things-one, my Parisian Cosmo Slush is now called and Eiffel Sour Slush...does that mean it's going to be sour? Noooo... And two, they have the mushroom filet at the Canada booth, I think that's new...that's pretty cool...maybe I don't need 10 million Le Cellier ADR's!

I need to check out the Special Events and see if any of them are worth doing!

Sorry the Cosmo Slush was changed! I've heard good things about it!!

I showed my hubby some of the special events and his eyes lit up at the Grand Marnier one! He also agreed to skip the Sweet Sundays.

The time with my hubby is wonderful!! I don't want it to end!!

I love my hubby ticker too!! It will return after my WDW trip. The WDW trip is the next time I will see hubby after I leave here.

Just had a chance to go back & catch up.......I'm so glad I haven't had to do a F&W trip yet......so many things to chose from and get straightened out in the itinerary......just a shame that info doesn't come available at the 180 day mark so people can plan a little easier. Sounds like an amazing trip & I know my hubby would LOVE it.....just not gonna happen for us for a while!!

Yeah... planning with everything only just barely being announced is a little crazy but I had allowed spots in my schedule to allow for most of the events and some ADR's I scheduled multiple times so I would have ones that would work at our must dine places.

Exactly!! You should have seen my hubby's eyes when I showed him that. He actually saw it when I was showing him something else and he was like... Ohhh That sounds good!

I'm sorry my plans sound so confusing! I'm going to rewrite all my daily plans when I get back from CO. That would be awesome if you do the same Dessert Party!! We will have to try and meet up if you do!

My time is CO is going good except for one major thing! We've been having problems with our well and our cistern (what holds the pumped out water) went dry this morning! We have really stupid toilets here and you have to put the handle back up. I went into the bathroom this morning and apparently I had left it running all night! It seems odd that the toilet could run enough to empty the cistern but we don't know what else it may be. So after a few hours we had enough water that I took a shower, did some dishes and hubby was part way through his shower when it went dry again! We are waiting a few hours and then will recheck the cistern. Hoping for the best that the cistern is filling back up!!

A new well is VERY expensive so we really don't want to have to need to go that route! Thankfully our disney trip is mostly paid for so at least I wouldn't have to cancel it! (I've bought tons of Disney Gift Cards to pay for everything!)

OH NO! That's awful! So sorry to hear that. I have no idea how it all works, but I hope you don't have to deal with that expense. I can't imagine you leaving the toilet running would cause the whole thing to run dry though?! That's crazy!

I don't know how it all works either but I highly believe that it has to be because of the toilet there is no other explanation. So to solve my problem of leaving the stupid toilet running we decided to buy new ones!! So out job today is to install them into our master bathroom and my MIL bathroom. We have 2 more toilets but those will wait to another time.

My DH unfortunately still thinks we need a new well. I'm hoping when we check the cistern today it's at least mostly full.. When the well was first drilled the cistern should have filled in 2 hours but it pumps much slower now. Which is why hubby thinks we might need a new one.. Praying it can wait a few years!!

Thankfully I have been purchasing Disney Gift cards the last few months so the month is wrapped in those and can't be reallocated to anything else!

The cistern was half full the following morning. It should fill in about 2 hours so our well is definitely not pumping as it should but hopefully with no more continuously running toilets it will be able to keep up for awhile!

I can't wait to dine at the Chef's Table. And surprise my hubby with it! He knows we are dining at V&A's but that is all. I have thought of cancelling it to save money but I doubt I would ever get lucky enough to book it again so I'm keeping it!!
