Well, the "Storm of the Century" is finally coming to an end here in Charlotte. We had about 8-10 inches at our house, 20 inches some places further south. My dd's are so excited! We usually get an inch or two a year, but some of that is sleet. This is the real deal and very pretty. No school, of course. They don't plow any secondary roads here, they only have a few plows. The best part is that it's supposed to be up in the 60's by Sunday, so it won't be here long enough to get sick of it!

It's beautiful here in Greensboro. It looks like we have about 8-10". We'll have to measure it. I like it when no cars have driven on the street. They won't clear our neighborhood unless it lasts for about 4 days. With high temps on Sat. and Sun. it should be gone by Monday.

We are in Burlington and it is beautiful outside this morning. We aren't going to miss school today since we homeschool, then the kids can go out and play when it warms up a little. I am also expecting to be eating some snowcream this evening after dinner. Have a great day everyone.

I'll have DH measure when he goes out to feed the dog and post our average. Have fun playing in the snow:D

Beautiful Snow in Spartanburg, SC Drifts up to 15 inches in spots of our yard. An average of 9 inches most places. Our huge Lab is up to her chest in snow. Our Chow, who loves cold weather almosts disappears in places. Going to build snowmen. Supposed to be 65 Sunday!

I just measured the snow on our driveway and it is exactly 6". My husband is out shoveling the driveway. I'm glad there wasn't any ice and we still have power.

It's nice here in Lincolnton, as well. Makes me feel like I am home, in Pittsburgh. We used to get these things every few weeks. :earsboy: :earsboy:

I think I was one of the few people out driving around in it yesterday. ::yes::

Quite pretty here in Cary too. We didn't get half as much as Charlotte. Off to work soon :( don't get to play this time around.

I'm glad you guys like it. You can keep it down there OK?;)
