Gotta love the snow days. I'm going to enjoy the day off of work today (school bus driver) Here comes the nice big cozy breakfast, some hot cocoa, maybe go out and take some pretty pictures that I can scrapbook before it turns to all rain later. Anyone else?

Don't you love a snow day? You are right near us too. (Massachusetts near Sturbridge). Kids are still sleeping so I'm trying to be nice and quiet and "play" on the computer. Housework can wait today.

Snow days should be "fun" days. I'm thinking some baking with the kids, wrapping presents, and probably breaking up a few arguments!:rotfl:

Enjoy the day!

Snow day here too for the kids and my DW. (School Bus Driver too!) I don't go into work until 10am, but I'll see how the roads are before I decide to call in or not. :)

WE HAVE ONE TOO!!!! This is our first snow day in 4 years--we are under a Blizzard Warning and the roads look horrible. The timing of the snow is about the only thing that cancels school for us and since most of this hit over night and is such a light, powdery snow it is blowing like crazy.s

:goodvibesTo all of you that have a wonderful Snow day enjoy it! I've got a heavy soaking rain here in S. Jersey. I am staying in today.

snow day in Maine too........I am not a fan of snowstorms......my hubby, our dalmatian and myself are misplaced southerners......hahaha....actually born and brought up in Maine but I can still say I DONT LIKE IT..

MY dh doesn't get a snow day, so I'd rather not have 6" with freezing rain on top. He called once he got to work and the roads are horrible.

Scott, I say stay home with your family. :)

I was hoping for a snow day (especially since we have a staff meeting after school today) but no such luck.

Just a delay here. 1 child has a 2 hour delay- the rest 90 minute delay. now i just have to figure out who leaves when.

We have one too and I am not excited at all about it. I haven't had a school day where all my kids were at school in over a week. I'm not getting anything done that I planned on doing and today was supposed to be the day that all 3 were finally in school and I could get out (alone) and do what I needed to. Somedays I really wished I lived somewhere that didn't get snow :)

I don't have kids in school yet but we have a snow day here. At least 6 inches so far and the plow guy hasn't been to our street yet. I don't think we are high demand ... Only 4 hours, mostly retired except us that JUST bought this house!

DH works out of the house so that's lucky. I have my camera battery charging to share some pictures! It's a far cry from the constant sun and palm trees that I am used to in South Florida but I am loving it. Just wish we would have called to set up the plow guy earlier this year ... oops!! At least it's light and fluffy!

Going to get some housework done, make some pizza dough and play outside with DS later.

Snow Day here and I'm thrilled! Lots to do around the house - decorate, go through gifts purchased and see what else I need to buy, plan my baking, maybe do some wrapping!

Our HS football season just ended on Sat., so the house has been neglected. DS16 and DS14 will sleep most of the day but once they get up we'll decorate the tree.

I really needed this day off!!!!

Hooray.:cool1:Snow day here as well. It is just beautiful here.
So happy for this day off.

Argh! Everyone is at home right now snoozing/lazing except me! Aaand lookit that, it's started to come down. Hopefully they'll let us out early... :thumbsup2

after sleet last night, it's almost 50-degrees in my part of Ohio. Windy. Skies are a little dark with rolling clouds and snow shining through. If it weren't December, I'd swear it was Spring! Please send some snow my way.

Snow day here too in Vermont. We have about 5 inches and it's still coming down hard.

I am at work (by myself, no one else made it in) and the kids went to a friend's house for the day. Hopefully I won't be here all day long and I can get home and get some Christmas stuff done.

My kids will have to make up this missed school day on the 21st. That stinks for a lot of people but we aren't going anywhere for Christmas so it's no big deal for us.

snow day here in Nashua. The kids dd15 and ds18 are home from school as well as my dh and I who work in schools!!

This snow puts me in the Christmasshopping spirit and I want to go shopping!! Hopefully later when the snow stops.
