It's a Small World

What is this ride like now. When we were there last year it was closed. Wondering what they did to update it? This is my mother's favorite ride!
(not a big risk taker as you may guess )

All I can really tell is that it looks cleaner and much brighter than before. I am not sure of any exact details they have changed. It dose look quite nice in there and the music is clear.

I picked this up somewhere a while back: the soundtrack is now digital, the front entrance was remodeled (improved access, and I think the back wall of the loading area was redesigned a bit) and everything inside got a head-to-toe refurb. The colors are amazing.

We were there in October, and the queue area/entrance is really amazing- they refurbed it to look more like the DL version. All gold, silver, and white, with the clock that is a big happy face- it is beautiful! As far as the interior, there weren't any real changes. They just repainted and re-costumed all the dolls- they all look so great! The soundtrack is crisp and clear, and the whole attraction in general is sparkling clean and "wearing its Sunday best". Your Mom will love it!!

A CM there told me this past August that one of the simplest changes helped bring the colors to life...they painted the ceiling black. It makes a huge difference in how vivid the colors are.

We were there in September 04 and it was closed, we were really bummed. When we went back in March 05 our first day at MK was the day they reopened IASW. We couldn't wait to see it and we definitely weren't disappointed!!! The colors were amazing, everything sparkles and shines. You can't help but leave that ride with a smile on your face.
