It's a Small World, when will it reopen?

I will be at WDW May 1-May 5, and I am hoping to go on It's a Small World. Do you think it will be reopened then. I know that all of the information that I have seen says May 2005 it will reopen. I am hoping that it will be at the beginning of May.

I would think it would open back up the first part of May, to help kick off Disneylands 50th birthday.

What exactly being done? Revamp of the music (converting and/or rerecording them into digital multitracks)? Re-placements of the sound system? Changing the water with filtered water from Brita Sports Bottles?

I believe it's scheduled to reopen March 18th.

ETA: Just confirmed! This is from Mousesavers:

I'm not sure what else is being done beyond asbestos removal. I'm hoping it is up and running in April!!!

It was closed our last two visits and I didn't realize how much I loved it until it was gone (sounds like a bad country music song but it was the best I could do )

My DD5 LOVES IASW. Our original date for this trip had to be changed because IASW would be closed.

So we're thrilled that not only will it be open, but it'll be like brand new!

I'll be so excited if it opens March 19th, like Mousesavers says. That's when we will be there. Allears just said Spring 2005 last time I checked. It's been closed for almost a year, so hopefully the changes will be a little more apparent.

I posted info I got this afternoon. The CM I talked to for something else checked the rehab list and said the 14th or 18th of March. And he added that it is being changed to be more like the Cal. Disneyland IASW. So I am looking forward to it. Sorry I can't remember the exact date... oldtimers/kids/ life catches up with me again.
