The venerable Disneyland ride reopens Friday with new scenes and characters.

As Walt Disney Co. set out to renovate It's a Small World at Disneyland, the company's Imagineers had one thing in mind: Don't mess it up.

Despite being one of the oldest attractions in the park, the ride is among the most popular -- drawing about 6.7 million riders a year.

Wow its pretty awesome I like the cowboys more then I thought and the characters weren't as intrusive as I thought they'd be either looks awesome! Cant wait to ride it in april!

We are dying to go but it is a tad bit raw...cool-ish...cloudy and possibly rain. Maybe tomorrow!

I had an unscheduled trip into the city on Thursday and was lucky enough to ride IASW during the AP preview. I LIKED IT! Kim Irvine did a wonderful job duplicating the Blair style. The characters blend in seamlessly.

We missed the AP preview on Thursday but it was our second stop Friday morning (after PP). I thought it was done very nicely. I think they fit the characters in rather nicely and they don't really stand out. I"m finding out that I even missed a few of the Characters. Anyways I think it's a nice addition to the ride!

I love that video ~ I can't wait to see it next month! The C~mas version was fun too ~ saw that for the 1st time this past Dec.
