It's a Small World - Aug / Sept Refurb Dates?

So Touring Plan shows It's a Small World as having refurb dates of

• August 22, 2016 to September 15, 2016

I can't seem to find this information anywhere else online - this falls during the time I'm going and it's a must see for me. Anyone have any inside info?

It was originally planned, then called off, then put back on again. I believe it is true that it will be down during those dates.

I know it stinks, but something is always going to be down. POTC was down last year and that is my "must do." It stunk having it down, but it was not going to ruin my trip. Just focus on the other rides you like. I think BTMRR will be down at that time too.

Yes, you would not be able to book a fp if they are definitely closing for refurb. It sounds like they keep taking it on and off the refurb schedule. I hope it's open for you!

I hope so too - I know we all have our Disney stories - and this ride has a special place in my heart from childhood and my grandparents - and the smallworld name has followed me along ever since. This is my first own organized and planned trip to Disney and I'm taking my daughter - a mommy daughter trip I just want this ride for sentimental reason - just feels right. Fingers crossed come June 29th when I can do FP!!!! I will know then! Until then I'll just wait it out

I am upset that Big Thunder Mountain is scheduled for a refurb during my visit. Honestly, I would much rather have It's a Small World down during that time. Wish I could trade you.
