It's a Small World 50th Anniversary

I just went to Disney.com and played the "It's a Small World" create a doll and listened to the song. I had forgotten about this year being the 50th Anniversary. Has anyone who has been to the parks seen any items like T-shirts, bags, or any other item to purchase with this anniversary on them?

You know what would be awesome? Getting to go on this ride at DL. To celebrate it's anniversary they decided to close it for half the year.

Yeah, I've been wondering about the long closure of the ride at DL. When we went in February I just assumed it was just the normal clousre due to changing over to the "non-holiday" mode but when we went back a few weeks ago iwas still down. Anybody know what's going on with the ride?

I love that ride! Can't believe it's 50 years old! Any rumors about a closure/refurbishment in WDW, or just in DL?

Just Disneylands is getting a big refurb. It will reopen April 10th for a few days for the anniversary celebration and then it will go back down for a little but longer.

Also no one not even disney has mentioned that this is also carousel of progresses 50th anniversary as well.
