It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I am a bit indecisive, I like them all for different reasons! :confused3 I will reveal which tshirt I have chosen with your help on our MNSSHP day. :goodvibes

Oh, it's a nasty, nasty virus, this withholding of decision-making! Grr! :rotfl:

But I think it's great that you've scheduled in lots of relaxing time. I think I've said this a bajillion times on several TRs and PTRs, but I would've loved to have a chance to just sit back and people-watch.

I like t-shirt designs #1 and #3.

~Beka~

1 and 3 get my vote, too! :thumbsup2

Animal Kingdom @ Rope Drop 9AM
One question, is my wake up call going to give us enough time to get to rope drop? DH normally showers at night so it's just me getting ready really, I think I can be out the door by 7:30 - 7:35. Does that give us enough time?

If your out the door by 7:30 I think you should be fine. I've never left any earlier than that, and have always made it to the parks by rope drop.

Kona Cafe is at the Polynesian, where it just so happens LL wants to stay...very badly. So either my great plan will work and DH will look at me over my Kona Kone and say, "LL, this is the most magical place ever. Money is no object, we shall stay here for 2 weeks next year." And I, misty eyed will reply, "Oh DH, I am the luckiest woman ever."
:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
If my great plan doesn't work, DH will look at me with a snarl and say, "LL, it really isn't worth the money to stay here. I told you so. Neener Neener." To which I will reply with a "Jerk." in the words of Tinkerbellarella or I will glance around and say, "You are right, what the @*&^% was I thinking? Let's go take a look at Grand Flo!"
:rotfl: Hope your plan works!

I like this one best, but they are all great. I'm just a bit partial to the fab 5.

And for some reason it always takes me more time to get ready in a hotel room then at home even thou I'm super organized with my beauty products and such.

I'm the opposite. I can get ready in half the time when I'm not at home. I think it's because I'm traveling with less stuff.

Oh, it's a nasty, nasty virus, this withholding of decision-making! Grr! :rotfl:
:lmao: Sorry. This isn't a mean withholding of a decision, it's more like I still can't make up my mind. :rotfl:

I love people watching. It's so much fun.

Yeah...still not any closer to a decision. :lmao:

I get ready pretty quickly anyways. I am a no frills kinda gal. I usually take about 30-35 minutes from alarm clock going off to out the door at home.

:rotfl: Hope your plan works!
Well he told me today that he could see doing a deluxe if we had free dining again. :headache:

I love Minnie in this design!

I like them all -- my brain is completely fried from open house, so I could not possibly make a choice. I shall sleep on it tonight and let you know tomorrow. :goodvibes

Has anyone ever seen Stan Lee's Who Wants to be a Superhero on Sci Fi?

Tink, I'm thinking Shoeper Girl needs to try out for next season.:thumbsup2

:rotfl: BF LOVES this show and is convinced that if he were on it he could win it. How mad would he be if I did just that?!?!

We could kick some superhero butt with a cool costume!! I definitly think we have to incoporate a shoehorn...at least ONE.

Perhaps I could through them like Chinese throwing stars.

I think Shoeper girl would need some awesome superhero boots with a spiky heel!

Well YEAH! Woohoo!

I think Shoeper girl needs a sparkly tiara, with a diamond encrusted pink shoe emblem in the middle.:thumbsup2

::sigh:: A girl after my own heart.

Oh, the fantastic line of shoes we could design! And matching accessories.:thumbsup2

I'm SO marketable! :lmao:

We could develop a television series were Shoeper Girl swoops in and solves shoe dilemmas! Can you imagine if we had Shoeper Girl go shoe shopping with us about 2 months ago? :lmao:

Um. Could we please do a Shoeper Girl/Batman tie-in? Since I'm partial to Mr. Bale and all. It would be fabuloso.

Yes, we can't have them looking worn and dingy for WDW!

Exactly why mine are currently residing in my luggage, not to be worn until the trip at this point.

Well, I'm fairly certain you can't get a cab directly from MK. We only picked the Contemporary because it was the first stop.

You cannot, but you can get them from any of the monorail resorts and the TTC. Been there, done that. WORTH the money when it's midnight and the line for the POP bus extends back to Space Mountain.

Okay, I love the one with Stitch that says Got Candy? That is too cute.

Ditto.

I'm loving the itinerary so far! I think your plans sound doable, though I think even YOU might find yourself looking for a later sleep more mornings than you think. It's not just about the physical drain but the emotional drain of Disney. In a good way, of course!

I love the romantic evening. DH and I have ADRs for the Spirit of Aloha on our last night there and I plan on walking around the Poly and catching the Electrical Lights Pageant and possibly catching the MNSSHP fireworks from the beach.

My vote is for #6.

Just found your PTR - way late I know:rolleyes:
Anyway we will be in WDW duing the exact same dates and staying at WL. Hope to see you there!:goodvibes

We could totally do a tie in with Shoeper Girl and Batman. :lmao:
I am definitly bring cab money! :lmao:

I am still undecided on my tshirt. Who knows. :confused3
I am so excited to see the Electric Water Pageant!

Thanks for joining in. :goodvibes Do you have a PTR or are you doing a TR??

Can you tell me more about the WL photo session? I have never heard of it before.:confused3

TIA
The WL Photo Session is with a Photopass Photographer. I think I have read the session takes no longer than an hour. The session costs $25 with the prepurchase of the photo cd for $99. All you have to do is bring your receipt of the photo cd to get the session for $25. If you haven't prepurchased the cd the session is $50. I was already planning to get the CD so I decided to add on the photo session for DH and I.
They also do photo sessions at GF, Poly, SSR, Beach Club and AK. I think those are all of them. You can call 30 days out from your arrival to schedule the session.
I have a link to a photo session thread with some peoples pictures that they have had done and have the phone numbers if you want more information. :goodvibes

Thank you for the info and the link would be greatly appreciated :goodvibes
I am doing a photopass share with 4 good friends of mine but my friend is actually ordering the cd in her name- do you think I can still just take the receipt with me (after I get it from her) and they will allow us to do it?:confused3

I have read on the photo session thread that people have been able to do that, they just bring a copy of the receipt.
Here's the thread!

I am just a little sad that I am already at Day Five. Boo. I can't imagine how I will feel when it's REALLY Day Five.

Wednesday September 3rd:

We are going to step back in time to 1982, a simpler time some may say, others may say it was the happiest day of their life, like my Mom. Yes everyone, LL greeted the world on this day(in four weeks) 26 years ago at 7:02AM, the Friday before Labor Day. My Mom says it was a very fitting time. ;) Thus the theme for today will be
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESLIE!!!

I will be wearing a special T-Shirt today. Oh yeah. I would like to thank my dear friend TK for making this special Birthday design for me.

Drum Roll Please....................................................
(In your head, I can't figure out what the proper letter combinations would be for a drum roll.)

TheShirt.jpg

Forgive me for not showing pictures of the completed T-Shirt, but DH had to leave early tonight and I wanted to show pictures of me actually in it. Something to look forward too in the Trip Report. ;) I put it on a darker purple shirt, it looks great and I am super excited to wear it. Thanks TK!

Now that I've got a special Birthday outfit, we can move onto the actual day. ;)

Early Morning Check Out @ Pop
Today is moving day...moving day to WILDERNESS LODGE! Can I get a dancing banana!?!

Transport Ourselves over to Wilderness Lodge
I am not 100% sure how we are going to do. No, don't revoke my DIS membership card yet, I am quite attached to that LGMH. We have two options. Have Bell Services transport our luggage over to WL and then take Disney transportation to get over there. Second option is to take a taxi. I think this all depends on how early we are get up and what we have decided to do that day. I do know that I want to go to WL to at least check in, assuming we won't get a room until later but just get that out of the way, kwim?

Do Whatever LL Wants!
Not that I planned this whole trip or anything but I have nothing, NOTHING scheduled until dinner this night. Do I have ideas? Sure. I would like to go check out some resorts, like Grand Flo, Contemporary and my new obsession, Port Orleans Riverside. Or I was thinking Downtown Disney for some Birthday shopping. Perhaps, mosey over to Port Orleans Riverside, take the boat to DTD, test it out for 2009?? I think that sounds like a mighty fine Birthday treat. A scrumdidliumpcious lunch at Earl of Sandwich, topped off with a Goofy Treat. Yeah. I think that will be my Birthday Daytime Activities. :thumbsup2 Wow, typing this all out was VERY beneficial.

Lunch - 1 CS
Well, I am thinking that will be Earl of Sandwich now followed by a Goofy Candy Co. goody.

Back to Wilderness Lodge
Hopefully our room will be ready by now, maybe take a swim.

Magic Kingdom
What better place to spend your 26th Birthday? I say there is no better place except maybe being presented with a $10 Million Dollar Lottery check so that you can buy into DVC. Not that I am obsessed or anything.

Cinderella's Royal Table @ 8PM
I can't wait for my Birthday dinner. This Princess is so excited to be eating in the Castle. princess: I am secretly hoping that we get sat at a table by the windows so we gaze out over Fantasyland. Ahhh...:cloud9:

Picture in Front of Cinderella Castle
I really want a picture of us, with me in my Birthday shirt in front of the Castle all lit up.

Wishes @ 10PM
I think our dinner will be over by then, if not I will hope for that window seat so we might catch a bit of the show. I won't be upset if we miss Wishes but I would really like to try and catch them.

I am giddy with excitement now that I have typed out our plans for this day. I literally can't wait. Four weeks from the exact moment I will be in all my Princess glory eating at Cinderella's Castle. princess:

First, you're welcome.:goodvibes Happy to help decorate your shirt for your birthday, and may I say the plans/non-plans are lovely!

I think that's an awesome way to spend your birthday, moving up to the deluxe resort, enjoying the Magic Kingdom, some fun throughout the day. It sounds just perfect.:thumbsup2

Oh, I so, so, so love the birthday t-shirt! Checking into the Wilderness Lodge, doing whatever you feel like, and celebrating at Cinderella's Castle -- what an awesome way to spend your birthday! :goodvibes

Drum Roll Please....................................................
(In your head, I can't figure out what the proper letter combinations would be for a drum roll.)

I'd just go with ttt-ttt-ttt-ttt myself, but I'm lazy. ;)

Cool shirt! TK, you are so incredibly talented! I'm very excited to see how the design comes out on the shirt itself. :thumbsup2

All your birthday plans sound wonderful! I'll be sending you :goodvibes for a table that overlooks Fantasyland.

:bday: to LL four weeks from today!
