oh yes does it happen to us! all of us in my family!
like most disorders...i blame this one on my parents! ROFL! cause when i was a kid they took us down to WDW 2 weeks at a time twice a year

of course it wasn't so pricey then; we'd fill up a Villa with grandparents and aunts and uncles too so everyone shared the cost. there was only one park, and so we would spend a lot of time swimming, my favorite thing when i was little besides being in the MK at night (before they cut the hours down to practically nothing!) was being in the Marketplace at night with the twinkling lights in the trees!
when i was little, leaving WDW and going home to an unhappy home life (my parents usually checked their arguements at the front gate when coming to disney property, or at least the screaming part...) so going home from the magic was a long way to fall. same with during my first marriage.
now that i have a wonderful, fun, peaceful and happy home to come back to its not so painful. but still, i feel most relaxed and happy and 'home' still in WDW. I go there and can remember such happy times with my dear grandfather who has been gone now 20 years.
my DH definitely shares the feeling too, he's fully addicted to WDW now. He'd only been there once in his life before we got married, and he's been there five times since! LOL There is just no place on earth we would rather go on vacation.
we have to see the fireworks early in the week cause seeing them at the end of the trip makes leaving harder LOL. we have little 'rules' like this.

also we always take an evening flight home to try to squeeze every bit of magic out of the last day of our vacation that we can.
but we have decided that the only way to really deal with it is to start planning next fall's trip. we have kind of made a pact that we will go to WDW once a year, whether we have to stay value resorts, or economize, or whatever.
living with a debilitating chronic illness is depressing enough. i find that having a WDW trip on the horizon to look forward to really helps my overall outlook in general...so if that makes me addicted, well, i can live with that! LOL people spend money on lots of different kinds of vacations, for our money, there is nowhere on earth that gives our family the joy, memories, and bliss of a WDW vacation.
hugs to all my fellow PDD sufferers!!! it's always the worst right after you get back.
we haven't even left yet and i've already been thinking about it! LOL
