So, the sun rises on another fine day in Orlando and it is just about time for day 5 I say!

So as is customary:

Who’s going, or should it be who’s here.

However, I am sat on the sofa some 3 weeks after the holiday, so should it be who went, or who was there? Blimey this space-time continuum is a tricky little bugger!!

I give up, you all know who was/is/will be there, and if not then go back and re-read days 1 to 4, there is a test you know!!

After yesterdays leisurely wander around the MK and our exertions with the fruity maid at the Adventurers Club (KUNGALOOSH!!) we decide to have a slightly easier day of it.

So we wake up at some point – the bright ones amongst you would realise that we need to wake up otherwise the remainder of the report will be a tad boring. I take myself off to the nearby pool to undertake some washing, or laundry as our dear mispronouncing, English language slaying, American friends would say.

Now you may think “ Hold on a mo’ there Matt you dashing chap, but haven’t we got away from using washboards in a large pool of water to satisfy our cleaning needs?”

Well. The reason for me going to the pool is that there is a washing facility there, or laundry room if you please. It takes me a few minutes of head scratching to work out that there is no charge for the washer and dryer, which is why I cannot get the ruddy things to take my money!!

Having attended to this without incident and having suitably prepared myself for the day, myself and the lovely Mrs Churchill, who also has prepared herself suitable for the day, head off to Downtown Disney for a bit of a look round and a leisurely time before making the trip to EPCOT to meet the remaining Adventurers in our club (KUNGALOOSH!!). We have a wander around Virgin and purchase a few items; we then have a look around the Sosa cigar shop where a number of items are purchased. By this time, we are both getting somewhat hot - and not in the good way, so we decide to head off for a little light refreshment –

Yes kids you know what time it is!! And it is not time for Crackerjack – no you fool, it’s 5’o;clock somewhere. We head for the Sosa Cigar Bar, which is just by Raglan Road, for a couple of cold ones and a puff on a large one:banana:

I like it in here, not solely as I can have a cigar, but it is a pretty cool place and the barman, lets call him Victor, is a good chap – and ex-Marine, so lets call him Sir Victor and say he is a very very good chap!

Having spent a good time here, we decide to head off to Boardwalk to meet “et al” before our dinner at Coral Reef. We are stuck, as we need to get a bus, which should be an easy thing – but the hell it is!!

We sit for a round 20 mins waiting for the correct bus, whilst at least 100 for every other resort come and go. Eventually, said bus arrives, but only to take us to West Side where we have a driver change – not a 5 min job, and we are finally on our way. Needless to say this experience does not improve my opinion of the bus network.

We meet our chums, with a quick stop to see Big Vern (our DVC selling friend) at his booth in EPCOT – we (as in me and Kev) shall be seeing the Vern-ster tomorrow as we are playing golf, but it is good to bump into him.

Coral Reef has never been high on our list of eateries, probably down to the fact the last time we ate there was after a Drinks Around the World session with some American Disers. However, I rather enjoy my meal and I think Deb also does. As for the Creosote bunch on the DDP they seem to hoover up everything that can be thrown at them – albeit we do get a taste of their dessert and very nice to, thank you.

Susan and the girls disappear as they have plans afoot and we amble out a few minutes after them.

As we make our way towards World Showcase Plaza Bridge I spy our secretive travelling partners making their way towards World Showcase. I whistle at them to attract their attention, but they are on a mission. So, as I am a child at heart I run over behind them and scream in their ears in my loudest tone – its is like watching three Space Shuttles take off at the same time – hilarious, well I thought it was, I am not sure they did.
The unsuspecting victims, moments before:

They head off in disgust, to possibly rue the day they ever met me, but heyho I say.

On the way to our rendezvous we stop to watch some chaps in kilts playing music, which is odd, but given the fact that they are Canadian and not Scottish is just damn weird I say.

After this we amble around, however, it would appear that we are very late for our assigned time and meet a very concerned looking bunch of ladies.

Apparently they have heard about Kev’s rendition of the old Grey Mare and want to make sure that RoE is still the main event of the evening. Once we have put their mind to rest we continue on, and meet a very concerned bunch of ladies (what is it with EPCOT tonight) – you Susan, India and Georgia are a tad worried as we are very late.

I blame Kev, which seems to get me in the clear and once again all is well, albeit I do catch Susan sticking pins in a doll that looks a lot like Kev.

RoE is enjoyed as always, I am sure that knowing the music so well augments the experience.

Look, lets not argue about it we all know it was Kev's fault...

Once the crowds start to thin somewhat we make our way to Beach Club to get a cab - we are still far too traumatised by our bus trip from earlier to take another one!

Fine reporting, Sir. Terrific pictures. I wonder why looking at you sat at the Sosa Cigar Bar makes me think of the Sopranos?

Great report Matt, love the shirt too! Great pics, especailly the fireworks!:)

Another great Matt, once again with lovely photos.

Lovely photo's Matt, apart from the very dodgy looking one in the cigar bar :thumbsup2

Nice to hear that the bus service continues to impress you!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I've just moved my comment for Day 6 (that I some how attached to Day 5!!!) to the proper thread.
