"What's the Frequency Kenneth?" by R.E.M.

"What's the frequency Kenneth, is your Benzedrine, uh huh
I was brain dead, locked out, numb, not up to speed
I thought I'd pegged you for an idiot's dream
Tunnel vision from the outsider's screen
I never understood the frequency, uh huh
You wore our expections like an armored suit, uh huh..."

Strange song with a strange origin - but catchy. ;)

Yes, I remember that song! It's what the mugger was shouting when he attacked Dan Rather! :scared:

Hmmmm.... weird - :confused3 ;)

Dan Rather will never live that down. I often wonder if HE still wonders about it. ;)

I can see it now!

Poor Dan--geez, take my wallet, dude, but stop screaming all that weird stuff!

Although, that mugger probably never knew he'd be creating a catch-phrase that people would find all sorts of miscellaneous uses for. ;)

:confused3 I never heard of this song.

It's a fun song. You might recognize the tune if you heard it. It was pretty well-played in it's heydey. :)
