ITouch for husband

I am thinking of getting my husband an Itouch is that something that an adult would like? He loves Facebook and playing video games, he would like an IPad but that is not in the budget right now. I know alot of teens like Itouches but I was not sure about adults.

My DH loves his. He has downloaded music and different movies. He just bought the Ipad2 for my birthday. I havent used it much, he has it.

My DH has an itouch. He doesn't use it much at all at home, but before he got a smart phone he used it alot during his down time at work or in the evenings when he was away from home. Now he just uses his phone and he gave his itouch to ds.

I have the itouch and use it all the time. great to surf and use apps especially when the kids have taken over the other computers.

As I type this my DH and DS are competing on their I-Touch's to clear a level on a game! My DH loves it. Well worth the $$ and we get quite a few apps for free and now I tell everyone to give I-Tunes g.c.'s. so they can purchase whatever music, videos or games they may want. I love my I-phone, but not for the games as much as the helpful apps. Gas Buddy has become my fav in recent weeks.

DH got me one for Mother's Day. I like it. I'm just getting started with it, and I don't listen to music much, so I'm not really using it to its full potential, but I was happy to get games like Combine on it. It's nice to play on while waiting for softball practice to get over, etc., but most often, I end up handing it to DD9 to play on. Friday night we had a 45 minute wait for a table at a restaurant, so I whipped it out for her.

It would be handy to put some movies on it for the plane ride, if I can handle the cost of them.

You can rent movies through iTunes, some for as low as 99 cents. You can also put your own movies on using paid or free software. It's kind of a pain, but I finally figured it out.

By the way, it's an iPod Touch, not an iTouch. I don't know why Apple didn't call it an iTouch in the first place!

Both of my teenagers want an I ouch. I have an Iphone & they ask to play on it all of the time. They have downloaded games on it. Both of them use their IPods a lot for music. I use my Iphone for both. The games come in handy when we are waiting somewhere. It makes the time pass fast. I have a few work apps too. I have downloaded movies too.

I got a Ipod Touch from my employer for Christmas, my DH loved it so much I bought him one for his birthday. He plays games - he's addicted to Angry Birds - and checks his emails, the weather, the news, etc. It's great if you have wireless in your home! I do all of the above plus watch movies on mine. We do have music loaded on them so we can play it in the car on long trips.

I think it's well worth the $$$ for value
