Guys, have a look and see what you think of this for the weekend. Just found out that Phanton Manor will be open when I had thought it was closed woo hoo! Also, our new boiler should be finally finished today, a week and a half with no heating or hot water is NO fun!!

Anyway, itinerary:

Arrive at DLP on Friday at approx 1:30pm, check in at Newport Bay. Leave baggage with bell services if we can't get into the room, head over to Disneyland Park to play! Lunch counter service, Dinner either Planet Hollywood or Anette's Diner

Saturday: Head to Disney Studio's after breakfast, back to hotel mid afternoon for break, Disneyland Park in evening for Fantilusion.

Sunday: Finish up any rides not done or if want to repeat! 2pm dinner at Blue Lagoon. Train leaves 18:00 ish!!

Sounds wonderful, hope it all goes to plan. :goodvibes
Thank god your boiler will be fixed today, *fingers crossed*, it must have been absolute hell with no hot water or heating!

Looks a good plan :) I suspect I'd give the Studios a miss given the limited time.

It all sounds great!:cool1:

My own plans for our trip in January sound similar, Annette's seems a good choice for the first evening. Have you used Eurostar before? We will be using it for the first time and I love the idea of going straight there! I'm not sure DD will let us pass the parks to go straight to our Hotel - we'll have to see on the day, and I'm sure she can persuade DH to take the luggage!;)

Blue Lagoon on the last afternoon also sounds great. I hope you enjoy the meals and get to do all the things you're planning. As you've been without heat you should find Newport Bay very cosy. A friend of mine was there recently and said the rooms were very warm!

Thanks for the replies guys, the heating is all fixed, the plumber finished at midnight last night!!

More good news today, got tickets for Most Haunted Live in Liverpool on Saturday 10th December, can't wait!

Cyrano, we have to do the Studios as neither of us has been there before and we LOVE Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in WDW so can't wait to go on that!

You should be OK to do the Studios. 3 days is about enough. We found 4 days a little too long.

I agree with your itinary, it is similar to ours. We normally just wander around the MK on arrival, after ditching luggage and take it seriously on day 2, taking the time to see and do everything in that park.
DAy 3 is when we go into the studios. If we finish early, then over to the MK. Remember that the Eurostar requires you to be at the station by about 4 - 4.30pm, so look to sit down for dinner about 3pm if you can. We have sort of got into the routine of eating in the Restaurant of the Stars or what ever it is called in the studios.

Having said all that, we are driving down this time, so a totally different approach. We bought the 3 for 2 so will drive down Fri night and have 3 full days in the parks. No rush to leave as we have a late crossing on our way back (Eurotunnel). This has the added bonus of not having to heave our luggage around and rushing for a train, before we are ready to actually leave. Nope, proper dinner before we set off this time !!

Anyway, you will work it all out I am sure, there is plenty of time to see most of it and like most of the people here, you will be back before you know it....the novelty never wears off !
