Itinerary question

We are going for 8 nights 4/16-4/24 and originally I had one plan in mind and now that April hours are out I am rethinking my plan. Does this plan look okay and out of 8 nights how many non park days would you have? I was originally thinking of one but now I am thinking possibly two and on those 2 days do a water park one day and dtd the other and just hang around the resort at night..so after all this rambling this is my plan, any feed back would be appreciated. thanks

sun: ??? departure day, leaving at 6pm, not sure what to do with this day

I have a 7 day ticket with water parks and more option does this cover all my plans including sunday departure day. The day we go to the water park does that take away one of the "days" leaving 6 days on my tickets? I am confused. thanks again

I have not used the WPF&M feature, but have considered it. You actually do not look like you would be getting your money's worth with the schedule you have.

With a 7 day Water Parks Fun and More, you would get 7 Days to the Theme Parks (1 park a day unless you have park hoppers) and 7 visits to the Water Parks, Fun and More attractions.

Water Parks, Fun and More Attractions (I may be missing an attraction):

• Blizzard Beach
  
• Typhoon Lagoon
  
• Oak Trail Golf
  
• Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf
• Winter Summerland Miniature Golf

I think you can visit more than one of the Water Parks, Golf Courses in one day, just up to 7 visits total.

If you have Water park and more option, you would not need the 7 days of park tickets unless you plan on hitting a park after the water
park. the water park ticket is 7 additional ticket days. Conceivably you could go 6 days to the parks, stay another 6 days and do a water park each day. Do you have young children that need lots of rest time? I can see April being busy and not having enough park time.

Ok, maybe you would enjoy more relax time. That is a personal call for sure. At least with a 16 yo you move much fast through the day! My little guys are a blast but slow the trek down a lot!! Have you looked at the cost of purchasing a one day water park ticket? It may be cheaper.

I just did a quick look at the crowd calendars- and your park days are not optimal. What we usually do is put all the parks, and their corresponding crowd levels, on paper- then circle the lowest ones and go there that day, unless there is an early EMH that we want to take advantage of. I get that a beeline to the MK is what a lot of people do, but we always postpone it to get lower crowd levels. Space you rest days to correspond with higher park attendance days- or do partial days in the parks and go to a park every day. Either allows for rest time. Your ticket includes 7 park days- and it sounds like you already have it, so to get your 'money's worth' I would recommend partial park days and scrap the rest days.

When I compare his predictions with your plan, you are going to the busiest park each day except Animal Kingdom. The final version isn't done yet, but when it is, you will find the reasons why Josh thinks certain parks are busier than others.
