I told myself I didn't need to post my itinerary but now I think I will! We're 4 days away from Zero Hour and I am just so excited, I can barely think of anything else! Here goes:
Sat- hopefully to POFQ by noon. We might swing by ESPN and catch some of the basketball tourney. (go Sooners!) Then DH and I are going to hit Epcot and get some rides out of the way (if he doesn't ride Mission Space immediately he's gonna explode!) PS for Biergarten in time for a show. Unless we decide to stay for fireworks, It'll probably be an early night; we'll have been up traveling since 4:30 AM.
Sun- Bkfst at 1900 PF, Magic Kingdom all day. Seeing the castle will make me feel like I'm really at WDW!!! Late PS for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. We'll do counter service for a late dinner. We won't worry about parades; if we catch them, great, if not...well it means shorter lines for rides! Fireworks definitely!! We plan on shutting the place down and will NOT be in that first rush of people to fight their way out of the parks!
Mon- MGM all day, PS for lunch at Sci Fi. We might leave for dinner on the BW then come back and spend the evening; again, shutting the place down
Tues- AK from open until 3 or so. We've got a PS for Portobello; after which we'll do the Adventurer's Club! Kungaloosh!
Wed- Epcot all day if needed. Possibly another trip to BW for lunch (hubby has already decided that's where we're staying next; I vote for WL, but oh well...)I'm sure we'll find plenty to do. PS for Rose and Crown for fireworks but we might decide to skip it and head back to MK for EMH.
Thurs- day reserved for anything not already done; we're thinking we might also try DQ if we don't feel the need to return to a park. Leave Orlando @ 4:00 for home.
We're both so excited we can barely contain ourselves! This week is going SO SLOW!!!!! I feel we've got the right amount of planned activities vs. "play it by ear" time.
Thanks everybody for all your help! I was a total Disney ignoramus when I got this trip for Christmas and you have all been SUCH a huge help!!!! I've LOVED being part of these boards. I'll post a report when I get back!!
