Hi friends,
We had to cut our disney trip down a week this year because 3people took the 1st week of August off and I usually take the 1st 3 weeks. My kids start school the last week so that wasn't an option. So 2 weeks it will have to be.

Cast: Me 36, DF 41, DD 15, DS 12, Dniece 6, DD 5.

Tickets:
Ticket Mania 5days base with options $265 x 4, 1 childs $232 (had 1 left over from last year, I bought 1 to many)

Universal 2 parks unlimited for 7 days $90x 6

We are driving down on 8/9, sleep over somewhere and continue to WDW in the morning.
8/10- Arrive at hotel. Unpack then hit Shoney's for Lunch/dinner. Then evening in pool and in bed by 9p.m.

8/16- Rest in breakfast ($3.99 buffet). Relax by pool while doing laundry. The go up and down Irlo Brons.Hwy shopping. Bed by 9pm
8/17- BB until 2 or 3. Rest for a few hours, lunch at hotel. Then MK for parade.
8/18- MK 9- 4 or 5 (no parade) Olive Garden or Red Lobster
8/19- AK til 4or 5 then dinner at hotel and pool.
8/20- TL until 2 or 3. Relaxing in hotel to whined down.
8/21- Epcot 10- 4 or 5. Rest and dinner in hotel.
8/22- Rest pool laundry and packing Do girls hair for school. Maybe dinner out CiCi's pizza?
8/23- Check out and drive back towards DE. Sleep over somewhere.
8/24- Drive to DE. HOME pull in luggage but only unpack what's need for the next week (1st day of school the next day) Fix or order dinner and relax.

So will this work or what am I missing?

It sounds good!! It's a lot of resting, but since it sounds like you get a nice long trip every year, it doesn't matter much!! I think I personally would try to get in atleast one more day or half day somewhere during the week on your Universal tickets!!!

Have a great trip!!

Andrea

I would recommend more time at disney quest. We had a blast when we went and probably spent 3 hours there!! RC at DTD is always VERY busy, so you might have a long wait there.

The DQ time frame is a few hours. The 1:30-2p.m is our arrival time to DQ. BBB is at about 5 or 6 then Rainforest Cafe by 7.

MATTERHORN- that's a good idea. I will do that.:thumbsup2
