Itinerary change Disney Magic 11/13

I just received an email from DCL that our 5 night cruise out of Miami no longer includes a stop in Key West, but is now a double dip to CC.
We were looking forward to KW, but CC is great too.
Anyway, does anyone know how long it takes for them to change out the stops on the activities page?
We want to try and grab a cabana. We are platinum but just booked this cruise a couple weeks ago.
Will they first open it to Concierge or just release them outright?

We got the same email about our Jan 31, 2022 cruise on the magic BUT it says either a stop in Nassau or an additional day at Castaway. It sends you to the website which of course is not updated. Neither is our reservation. This cruise already stops in Nassau so I sure hope it is a second day in Castaway!

I wonder if they will be stooping in Nassau by then, we may get another sea day.
We are on The January 22 cruise with our kids and grandkids, but it doesn't stop in Key West.

We're booked on the January 3rd 5-night sailing on the Magic. Originally Day at Sea, Key West, Castaway, Nassau. The Dream is scheduled to be at Castaway Cay on the Key West day, so a double dip might involve replacing the sea day with CC, followed by the sea day, CC as originally scheduled, and Nassau. Still waiting for the web site to update to find out.

We're also booked b2b with the next Magic cruise, a 5-nt to Western Caribbean with just two stops, Cozumel and CC. We're PIF for both cruises as our activity booking window opened last Sunday for the first cruise and opens this Friday for the second. With the temporarily revised final payment dates, we can cancel up to the 60-day point, so early November as we see how these changes develop.

Edited to add: web site now updated. They did switch the sea day and Key West day to now be CC and sea day, so no conflict with the Dream at CC.

There have been a bunch of changes to a lot of cruises in the last hour.
The website is down for checking reservations, they must be updating everything.

They have CC listed now, but you can't make any port adventure reservations yet.

My 9/20 cruise was changed to have a second CC day quite some time ago (more than a week, anyway) and they still haven't allowed us to reserve port adventures for that second CC day on the website. Everything says "SOLD OUT", but it's always been that way.

Potential good news! My cruise is finally allowing me to book activities for the 2nd CC day! I guess they unlocked it when they updated everything on the website today. The cabanas are all sold out, of course, but everything else is there. So, they'll probably do yours soon, too!

Yeah, but it's more complicated than that. Florida later passed a law to nullify Key West's ban. And then Key West was looking for ways to fight back. Disney might just be trying to avoid bad PR for now.

I'm not blaming DCL, I just wanted something more than CC ( although I do love it) and I have no interest in Nassau. Had they dropped Nassau and kept OKW....I'd be cheering.

I'm also concerned the heavy restrictions right now may still be in place and I'm not willing to cruise with them in place, especially the kids club restrictions. There's no hurry to cancel, but it's a definite possibility. No one could've told me back in the summer of 2020 that we'd still be talking about re-booking yet again, but here we are.

Your story sounds like mine. Our original cruise was for October 2020, rescheduled for March of 2021 with no question that everything would be fine by then, and now this one for March 2022. We had already lost our March 2020 WDW trip- it was scheduled to start the day WDW shut the doors. I remember thinking then, just give it a few weeks and they'll be back open again. We tried 3 more reservations for WDW before we finally got to go this past July- but it just wasn't the WDW I love. It's why I'm hesitant to cruise with so many changes- I really missed the WDW that was. I'd rather just wait for how ever long it takes to get it back. But it sure is depressing sometimes waiting.

When my cruise was changed to have two stops at CC, they switch the day at sea from Thursday to Tuesday. Some time later that day, they moved our Palo brunch reservation automatically to the new sea day.

I had the same change for my April cruise. Was excited to see OKW, but I really do love castaway!!
