Itinerary - 2 weeks in December - Please look!

Hi,

Please take a look at my itinerary. I want to make sure I have the parks down so that I can begin making PS. 90 days is less than 2 weeks out!

I have three little kids - DD 6, DD 4, and DS almost 3.
Most of the trip it will be me, my MIL and the three kids. For a few days, DH and FIL will be with us, too. This trip is a long trip, and the 4th trip in 4 1/2 years so we will relax a bit. And, only one of the kids is big enough for the thrill rides. She *might* try Space Mtn & Splash Mtn with her dad.

On most days, we will get to the parks at opening, stay until the afternoon, take a break and then decide whether to stay at the resort for the evening or go back to one of the parks for a bit. We will do the Early Entry for MK and AK, but skip it at Epcot and MGM.

This trip is planned from 11.30 - 12.12. We've never been in December before!

Here's my plan so far -- Please make any comments!!

Sun & Mon – driving from NJ

Tues – Sleep in.
* AK (kids can move around here after the long car ride!)

Wed – * MGM at opening
11:15 PS -Sci Fi Drive In
Back to resort around 2
5:30 PS – Park Fare 1900’s

Thurs – * MK – Early Entry! (Tomorrowland, Toon Town)
PS 11:15 – Crystal Palace
Evening open…

Fri – * EPCOT – PS Storybook Princess Breakfast
Boat to * MGM
PS 2:30 – 50’s Prime Time
Evening open….
(DH and FIL arrive tonight)

Sat - * EPCOT at opening – Future World
Break at resort
* MK – Liberty Square, Fronteirland, Adventureland
SpectroMagic

Sun - * MK – Early entry! (Fantasyland)
PS 11:15 – The Plaza
Back to the resort
DH & I – night out (kids w/grandma)
(probably Epcot WS)

Mon - * AK – early entry
Break at the resort
* EPCOT – World Showcase
PS 4:45 – Biergarten
Candlelight Processional

Tues – Sleep in. Relax at resort.
4:00 MK
PS 5:20 – Liberty Tree Tavern
MVMCP!!! some rides, mostly shows & the parade

Wed – Sleep in. Relax.
Men – golf
1:30 – Wonderland Tea Party for the girls
Take DS on monorail ride, try to ride the front while
girls are at the tea party (DS 2 months shy of 3 – too
young for tea party)
PS 5:30 – Boma
(DH and FIL depart tonight)

Thurs – MK early entry

Thurs, Fri, Sat – CRT, shopping at DTD, visit resorts to see Christmas decorations, parks for favorites and any missed attractions, MGM in the evening for Fantasmic & Osborne Lights

Sun - depart

Two weeks in a non-peak time for the holidays sound fantastic. I think you have plenty of time to see and do most everything you want. You could have warm days where the kids might want to swim so don't forget to leave some wiggle room. My only suggestion in looking at your itinerary is that you have EE set for the Sunday following a late night at MK with Spectro. Since you have quite a few days for EE at MK, I would probably skip it that Sunday.

I didn't realize that with SPectroMagic and the next day EE. You're right, especially with three litte=le ones that might not work. I'll have to wait and see when SpectroMagic is. If we get lucky and they run an 8 and a 10, we'd be ok witht he 8, but if it's on,y once, it's probably 9 and that ould be a bit late by the time we got back to the hotel and all.
