I am planning a trip for 4 adults (ages 26, 33, 47, and 48) to WDW in January.

For Christmas I want to give them a package of gifts that they will be able to open one a day between Christmas and our trip January 4.

So I will need gifts for eleven days. Here's what I have so far:

12/25 - Disney Dollars
12/26 - 2 GB Memory card for camera, extra batteries
12/27 - Stuffed animal
12/28 - Over the door plastic item holder for toiletries, etc
12/29 - Travel mug with drink packets, tea bags, coffee, etc
12/30 - First aid kid with dramamine, aleve, pepto, moleskin, bandaids
12/31 - Rain Poncho
1/1 -
1/2 - Luggage Tags
1/3 - Pirates of the Caribbean Lanyards
1/4 - Disney maps and itinerary

Can you think of any other items you wish you had in WDW, that would be cute, relatively inexpensive gifts?

Depending if they are drinkers or not... the little small airplane size liquor bottles (they come in plastic now). At any liquor store you can find lots of different ones, including Irish Cream- which is yummy just by itself over ice. :goodvibes

I agree with above poster. . .any coffee besides the Nescafe they serve at WDW and DLR. . .that is the most HORRIBLE crap they call coffee that I have ever had. . .

More for general travel...

Deck of playing cards
Rain Poncho (won't need it if they have it!)
Sunscreen (small tube/bottle for reapplying in the parks)
Stamps for postcards

And if they're kids at heart...

Glow sticks/necklaces/bracelets

Thanks for the replies so far. We aren't really coffee drinkers, but I may bring some tea bags.

The other ideas are good, but don't really fit me and my parents.

Keep thinking! I am too!

What about travel sized hand lotions, and shower gels (for the ladies) from Bath and Body Works? They usually have holiday/winter scents. Also, I love the travel sized candles to make your room smell nice (you could find these at Target or Walmart).

Guys are tough to find gifts for... especially inexpensive gifts. Are they sweets eaters? What about a really nice chocolate bar, or if they aren't maybe some mixed nuts?

Disney disposable camera and/or memory card, cap/hat, sunglasses. beach towel......

A Disney pin

make a disney button

pickup a candy item on site. I am a hugh fan of the peppermint tin cans & Wonka bars

magnet

create a disney CD of theme park songs

I wouldn't hint of anything Disney until later in your countdown - perhaps Jan 1 - Happy New Year!!

Are the lanyards for carrying water or pop bottles??

An Orlando newspaper OR print off a weather forecast for the days of your trip or arrival date

Disney bandaids - shoes haven't been used in awhile, lots of walking equals blisters !!

Gum is something you won't find anywhere on the property (don't like walking in it) but if they are absolute gum chewers some of their favourites, or even small packs of their favourite munchables

Chewing gum and chapstick (just two small things you will probably need while there. Also maybe purell, just the small size. The diposable camera is a great idea too.

It isn't a surprise trip. They all know we are going. I am definitely going to pick up gum, candy, etc. That sounds like a good idea. Maybe a pin for everyone.

The lanyard is for keeping our tickets/room keys in.

On one of my trips I was wishing I had bought another pair of feet with me!!! Took my toes months to heal from the blisters!!!

Bring Moleskin for the blisters....

I always bring a cork screw in case we decide to indulge in bottle of wine in our unit.

I also bring a utility knife....you never know when you might need it

I also bring clothespins for the wet bathing suits

First aid kits are great....mine is really compact and has the basics of everything in it just in case (last time I used it)

Sewing kits (if your hotel doesn't provide it)

Stain sticks....if your like me, you need them!

Dramamine for motion sickness (especially if one doesn't know they even have it - that's what happened to me....)

ZIPLOCK bags....these are great for storing your camera in the parks (especially while on the water rides....I wrecked a camera my first time :headache: )

Hope this helps!

I really enjoy bringing my small stuffed disney animals with me. I like to put them in the window or in the room. How about visiting your local Disney store and buying them each a mini stuffed animal? You will also find many other Disney related items there and you might see something that would be useful or fun for the trip.

You could also make something from the Mickey heads at Home Depot. Maybe you could put them on a card.

Do you have any disney shampoo or soap left over from a previous trip?

How about a Disney themed travel mug.

Don't forget to visit your local dollar store. Sometimes they have various Disney items (like I recently found a pack of stick on Pooh's).

how about
Moleskin
crystal light packets
mittens
:goodvibes :goodvibes
