What is suggested to bring into the parks? More important to me, how should it be carried into the park to get through security quickly? I'd imagine water bottles- can it be my own personal one or does it need to be a plastic bottle? Is it better to have a smaller backpack or baggallini?

What is in your go to bag for the parks?

1 what ever you want it will take the same amount of time to go thought bag check as the next guest ( with in a few seconds)
2 who ever you want to carry it but it dose help to unzip things when you get there
3 bring any water bottle you want I use Contigo and it is not see thought at all
4 depends on what you want with you I bring a back pack
5 food some times for the hole day, medical things and back up medical things. summer times a small fain umbrella poncho rain shows, winter time sweet shirt ID credit card, I am sure I am forgetting something

You can bring in whatever type bag you want. I use a small vera backpack and my DH does a larger backpack. Ziploc bag smaller items. Rain ponchos, camera, phone, water, sweatshirts, autograph books, wallet with credit card. We are going to try to travel lighter this trip!

Wallet with cards, sometimes cash, AP card, ID

Magic band on wrist

Then the occasional drink if we have one with us. It's nice to not have to lug around much

I carry a cross body Baggalini and love it. Biggest thing I recommend is having all zippers unzipped as you get closer to bag check. If not they will likely make you unzip anything you haven't, slowing things down. We carried pennies and quarters for penny pressing, autograph books, bags of sharpie markers, a portable cell phone charger because my battery couldn't make it all day, and ziploc with some extra cash (we did charge to our room but I preferred keeping our charges to a minimum).

medicines for all types of ailments, refillable filtered water bottles, hoodies, wallet with cards, tubes of change for pressed pennies, chapstick, blister band aids, portable phone chargers, and a travel sized tube of sun screen. oh and a hand full of jolly ranchers candy.

wanna get through security quickly? OPEN ALL THE POCKETS and be ready. Paying attention to what is going on will save you and everyone behind you time. the only reason it takes so long in the first place is because clueless people aren't ready when they get to the security person and they've packed like they are on a 2 week safari. keep your stuff loosely packed so it doesn't all have to be hauled out onto the table. usually, it's "peek, peek, peek, thank you" and you're on your way.

I usually use a Ver Bradley hipster.
I keep what iI bring to a minimum because I know I don't need a ton of stuff.
-wallet
-cell phone
-tiny container of over the counter meds
-hair brush
-chap stick
-rain poncho
-eye glasses case for HS since I don't like wearing my glasses on RNRC.
-if I go when its cold I'll tie a jacket around my waist.
-I wear a hat
-I usually don't bring a water bottle but end up buying one at the parks and refilling at water fountains. (You can bring your own personal water bottle as long as its not glass)
I always put sunscreen on before I leave for the parks and I don't bring any with me because I don't need to reapply.

I like bringing a bag better than going bagless because I don't want to try to cram things into pockets.
I've never waited more than a few minutes at bag check so I don't find it to be that horrible although I do know its security theater.
I just approach with all pockets on my bag open and zip right through.

I carry a small cross body bag or a small hanging wallet that I can loop on my belt loops. I carry very little into the parks, usually a lip balm, a small package of hand wipes, my license and a credit card, and some money. My phone.

I dont mind going through bag check. I have my bag ready with the zipper open. It takes all of two seconds,

I have a bagallini cross body medium bag.
I carry my wallet with ID, AP, DVC card, Credit card TIW card and a small amount of cash.
I have my DH Epipen, some OTC meds, Kleenex, lip balm, band aids, comb, and depending on the weather a poncho.

This is a very individual (personal) thing. Depends on what you feel you "need" and "can't live without".

We have a HUGE soft sided bag, it's basically a giant cooler except it's soft sided, that we fill with a dinner/drinks for a family of 5. We bring that in, along with the umbrella stroller to cart it around. We usually park it somewhere and leave it until we're ready to come back for it. Beyond that:

I have wallet, car keys, cell phone. That's it.
My wife brings an over the shoulder bag (which we sometimes leave with the stroller). It has dollar store ponchos, sunscreen, autograph books for the kids, a couple of snacks.

DH and I don't have any children, so that cuts down on some of the stuff that we need to bring into the park. I carry a LL Bean backpack with ponchos, wallets, phones, a small first aid kid (Band-Aids, Neosporin, Tylenol) and a water bottle. I could probably get by with a cross-body purse, but with the backpack DH and I can take turns carrying it.

What you put in your pack is what you will need for the day. Its strictly up to you. My advise would be to carry as little as possible.

As an example, this is what I carry in my pack:

- 3L Camelbak (my pack has a pocket for a Camelbak)
- Moleskin and bandaids
- portable charger and micro USB cable (for our cell phones and my wife's small tablet)
- Granola bars for a snack
- Lunch (if we are bringing in our own lunch)
- Lens wipes for my glasses and sunglasses
- small bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 travel pack of antibacterial wipes
- a disposable poncho (I only carry it if it looks like rain)
- Two way radio and speaker mic.

I also put everything in various size zip loc bags - one of the Security guards at bag check thanked me for that! I also use a backpack that only has two zippered compartments - its a lot easier to check.

Edit: We stay off site and don't leave the park, so we bring in what we will need for the day.

I go with as little as I can get away with. If I'm wearing shorts, I go bagless. I take my cell phone out of it's case so it's lighter and it goes in a pocket. I carry a little folding type wallet that has 2 cc slots and a slot for an ID, on the inside you fold your money. That goes in a pocket. My reading glasses go on either a strap around my neck or on a magnetic pin on my shirt. Sunglasses on my head, cap on my head or hooked onto my belt loop if I don't want to wear it. If I'm wearing a sundress I either take a very small cross body to hold the phone and wallet or wear a running belt which goes under my dress, I carry my phone through security in my hand so if I have to go through the detectors I can put it in the tray. When I get into the park I go to the restroom and pull the belt on top of my dress just so I don't have to be yanking up my dress to get to my money or phone. Magic band on my wrist of course. If I think it's going to rain, I'll either carry an umbrella in my hand that I can then hook to a belt loop on my shorts or if I'm wearing my running belt it has a little key hook inside I can hook on to, or I carry a poncho folded up as small as I can which I either put in my shorts pockets if I'm wearing cargos with a big enough pocket on pull through my belt. I do not carry anything else in my belt as it would then become a bag and need to go through security, which would be a pain since you step into it.

I've gone bagless since my youngest turned 5. I have a lanyard that carries my ID, cash and cell phone. We take midday breaks so don't feel the need to bring the world to the parks for 4-5 hours.
