Items for Signatues

Are you able to get items signed when there are character appearances, or are the signatures limited to just as requested fro GS? Just curious since I have a photo mat that I would like signed, but I also have 3 mini vinylmations.

I picked up two small ceramic plain white Christmas ornaments at Michael's to have signed on our cruise in March. :) I can't take credit for the idea... I saw it somewhere else!:artist:

I too am wondering about this. We plan on bringing a photo matte and was hoping to leave it at GS to make sure we don't miss any of the characters.

You can have items signed when you meet the characters. It would probably be easier for you to have the characters sign the photo mat when you meet them and turn the vinyls over to guest services for signatures. The general rule is only two items signed per room but if you have three kids, guests services is usually nice enough to let a family of five drop off three items.

I'm not saying you can't try to have the characters sign the vinyls when you meet them, I'm just trying to think what would be easier for you.

I got really excited for a minute when I saw signatures from Merida and Phineas and Ferb on the ship. Oh well. ;)

Sorry for that. I wish there were more surprise and rare characters on the cruises. I think that would be neat.

I also think it would be neat to put a shop on Castaway Cay that would sell every movie Disney has made, even if it is not out right now... They could call it "The Vault".

I would take the 3 mini vinylmation to meet the chartcaters since they are small and you will not be able to get many signtures on them and at the meet than can decide which characters to have sign

That was my thought, since I really want the mat to have all signatures and only Mickey on the vinylmations, which are mini-vinylmations. :goodvibes

And my thought is just the opposite. The small vinylmations are just that...small. If the characters wear gloves they may have problems holding the small vinylmation and writing small enough to fit. If they are off stage, they aren't wearing gloves when they are signing. Just my 2 cents though. :goodvibes We've dropped everything off at GS and have always been pleased with what we've gotten back.

I like the tote bag idea. Anyone have a picture?

True, you have a good point there, I just hate to have to carry the mat, because I am such a klutz!:lmao:
