Items available in rooms?

We are finishing up a stay at VWL, and it seems to me that some items in the rooms that were readily available in past, are not so available now. For one thing, there used to be a list inside the cupboard door that stated all the inventory that should be in the kitchen. The plastic holder is still there, but the list itself is gone. I don't think this is just the case for our 1 BR. My DD is staying in a separate 1BR and her list is missing too.

As I recall, a cookie sheet used to be available in the room. There is not one now. Also, there was not a paring knife in our drawer. I called Mousekeeping and asked to have a cookie sheet and a paring knife sent up to our room. We left to go to the park and when we returned this is the knife that was left in our room.



In case you can't tell, it is serrated and 13 inches long from handle to tip. It's a bread knife, for crying out loud! I'd have a hard time peeling an apple with this one! Luckily, when my Owner's Locker arrived, there was a paring knife in it!

Here's what you should have:

Kitchen:

•Refrigerator
•Electric stove/oven
•Microwave oven
•Sink with disposal
•Coffee maker and starter pack
•Toaster
•Electric blender
•Dishware, glasses, coffee cups and flatware service for eight (service for 12 in three-bedroom Vacation Homes)
•Serving platter, vegetable bowls, salad serving bowl, sugar bowl, pitcher and cream server
•Eight-piece cookware set (pots, pans and lids)
•Casserole dishes, measuring cups and spoons, colander, cutting board and cookie sheet
•Paring knife, cook's knife, tongs, serving spoon, serving fork, can opener, bottle opener and corkscrew
•Teakettle
•Dish towel
•Sponge
•Potholders


Looks like they upgraded you from a 6" paring knife to 13" bread knife!

Call Mousekeeping for a new list and to replace the missing items.

I mentioned the missing list when I called about the knife. They didn't seem surprised. It gave me the impression that all the lists have been removed so that people won't know what's missing!
