Wowsa....I missed two really jam packed updates!

Your experience at rope drop is precisely while I wait until after park opening. I hate to line up at the turnstyles. I'm just too darn impatient! And I always get in the longest line.

I really like all your pics, but especially the ones in mission space. The first outside picture is fabulous!

The strawberry shortcake looks yummy and lunch looks excellent. I plan to try eating there in May. My kids wouldn't like that food, so I never go there when I travel with them. As for the adults - only trips - I have no idea why I've never eaten there, but that's about to change!

You certainly got a lot done before lunch! I hope you keep up at the blistering pace after lunch. I'm glad you took some time to people watch, even if it did end up in a case of mistaken identity. Who cares? If you hadn't asked, then you would have been wondering all trip!

Those soaps were hilarious! Glad you made it around the world and had a nice lunch too! I love humus! I agree...it does look cold and windy out! Can't wait for more....love the report!!

When I left off, we had just enjoyed the drummers in Japan. We continued on our way around World Showcase, and our next stop was America. One of my priorities of this trip was to hear the Voices of Liberty sing, so we headed into The American Adventure.





Little did I know I was about to get a huge treat! As we entered the building, I was looking for someone to ask about when the VOL would be coming out to sing. Just at that moment, who do I see coming out to sing, but the Voice of Liberty! AND….they are dressed as Dickens’ carolers!!!



I was so excited I could hardly stand it! All the little benches around the rotunda were already occupied, but I noticed that a bunch of adults and children were sitting on the floor, so I had a seat. Tom’s back can’t handle sitting on the floor, so he stayed back by the pillars. The narrator of the group invited everyone to come closer in order to hear better, and then they started singing Christmas carols. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard! I could have sat there for hours and just listened to them. What a talented group of people! They sang four or five songs, and when they were done I very reluctantly got up and we continued on our journey.

Right as we were exiting the building, we could hear the Fife and Drum Corps coming. They were fun to watch, too!













After they passed, we went into the Liberty Inn to see the gingerbread house.









We continued on, and as we were approaching Italy I decided it was time for an adult beverage. So we stopped at the Tutto Italia kiosk and I got a glass of Asti.

I was fine with walking and drinking, but Tom insisted that we sit on a bench and do some more people watching. We had a great view of the Germany pavilion.



After my wine was finished, I need to do some shopping in Germany to get some more candy. This is what I ended up with.







Then Tom decided that before we left Germany, he should go ahead and get a delicious pretzel. Wow, that prezel was sooo good! It would have been $4.50, but we used a snack credit.

We snacked on the pretzel while we walked through the Outpost and made our way over to China.



We took some time to explore the gardens and then went inside to see the Tomb Warriors.





I don’t know why, but we didn’t stop in Norway and ended up in Mexico. It was time for another adult beverage…the Fiesta Margarita!



For some reason I don’t have a picture of it. I do know that by now it was getting quite chilly and when I saw the size I knew there was no way I was going to finish it. It was huge! But oh so good!

I sipped as we walked back toward the front of the park.









We were going back to the Pop for a nap, and then come back to Epcot for Illuminations.

As we were walking back toward the bus stops, I realized that our stop was the last one. It was a very long walk. I don’t think we waited too long, and before we knew it, we were back at the resort.

Tom took a few more pics on the way to our room.

Enjoying your TR-we were there (at the Carribean, we usually stay at POP and really missed it)) from the 12th to the 16th and did not think it was too crowded.. MVMCP on the 13th was busier than I expected but fun. Keep it coming as you tell a great story.

Looks like a great day to be in Epcot! We were there that day for a few hours in the evening after spending most of the day in MK. It got too cold that night for a margarita...I never did get one!

Aha! So there you are, praisehisname! I wish we'd been able to find each other and say hi at the Toy Story party that Saturday night, but reading about your adventures is some consolation.

We saw the Voices of Liberty for the first time on this trip, too, and thought they were amazing! I must say, though, that it cracked me up to hear them sing "Havenu Sholem Aleichem." Not what I was expecting from them!

Great afternoon in Epcot. I LOVE the Voices of Liberty. If I didn't already tell you this - being a Voice of Liberty is my dream job. (I took the KTTK tour once and they asked us to pick a dream job) I don't know if I could do it, but I would certainly work and work for it. It's not so much the singing, its the way they modulate their voices to make them sound like one voice instead of 7 or 8. And the dynamics - Wow! They are so well trained. I just think they are simply amazing. Couple that with the acoustics in that building. I bet they love to go to work.

You are really making your way around Epcot nicely. I definately need to stop in China on my next trip. I have skipped it for several trips in a row. Lovely pics!

The Voices of Liberty are incredible to hear on a "normal" day. I can just imagine how neat it was to hear them singing Christmas carols and to see them in their Dickensian garb!

The Christmas decorations and trees are so pretty in America and Italy!!!

Those margaritas are huge! Did you make Tom help you finish it?

DH doesn't understand when I try to explain that it's the sounds blending together and the harmony that I love even more than the songs. So I'm glad somebody else "gets" it.

He doesn't drink, so I was on my own. I put a good dent in it, but ended up throwing the rest away. It was just too cold out! I bet on a summer day it would be perfect!
