Italian Charm Bracelets

ok I must be stupid. I received an Italian Charm bracelet for Christmas but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add a charm. Can anybody help me??

You slide the top section and the bottom with have a hook on one side that will hook onto the new charm once you slide the top. It is hard to explain.

There is a tool that makes it easier to do this. We got one at Claires.

take the charm between your thumb and forefinger with your thumb on top.
Slide the top of the charm with your thumb to one side while you move your finger on the bottom side of the charm in the opposite direction.
This should expose a hook or a groove where the hook fits.

I have the tool also and it makes the world of a difference. I got mine at Claires also.
