It wouldn't be spring without an Epcot F&G Festival! New pg 35

I don't think I ever commented on HDDR. We took the internal bus...from our cabin! We thought we were cutting it close actually, having come back from MK, to the cabin to change, have wine etc..but made it in plenty of time, even had time to get in the wrong line for a while, then get our tickets, then look at pins. :rotfl: For some reason getting back to the cabin (and ours was very close to the front parking lot) seemed to take longer.

We all loved it, I was glad we had the better seating though.

You have me dying to go on the new star tours after your DHS highlights!

Zach doesn't look so sure he's happy about meeting the height requirement for Rock N Roller Coaster! Love the face! :goodvibes

That walk to the Studios looks beautiful! What a treat! :thumbsup2

Zach was excited, I'm not sure what the face is about... I think he was mad that I made him go back for a picture.

That is a great walk!

YAY DHS - my favorite park!! :cool1: I'm sure it will be a great day for you guys! I am looking forward to walking or boating from the BC too. :goodvibes

You are under 2 months already and I am right behind you!! :yay:

We really enjoy DHS too - and walking/boating there is the best way to arrive! I'm looking forward to checking out the non-rope-drop.

Love your DHS highlights.
Great restaurant picks.
And the walk/boat from the Epcot resorts is just fabulous!

We all love 50s Prime Time! I hope Tim has a better meal at Sci Fi because it's such a fun restaurant.

Awesome pictures Amy. Your boys are just too cute and the commentary too funny! So glad you are starting your trip off with your boy's favorite park and rides. :thumbsup2

It's going to be a great way to start the trip!

This picture is great! Is that the "evil" eye?

I think it's another case of, "Mom, stop taking my picture, I'm just eating soup!"

I was telling everyone at work today (well everyone that would listen) that 8 weeks from today we will be there!!:goodvibes

 Love that pic with the "evil eye". That's great!

The walk from BC to DHS is wonderful isn't it?? Jeff & I walked from BC in 2010. What a beautiful walk.:cloud9:

Woo hoo!! Now we're less than 8 weeks to go!! :cool1:

It is a great walk - especially early in the trip when the feet aren't so tired!

My plan is to pick up our HDDR tickets ahead of time at the Beach Club so we don't have to deal with that when we get there. If the show is at 5pm, will we have enough time to get down there on the internal bus if we arrive at Fort Wilderness at 4:15? I don't want to get there late, but I don't want to get there too early - we don't wait well!

You'll love the new Star Tours!

What fun DHS memories you created and what fun ones to look forward to:goodvibes I hope your DH has a better meal at Sci Fi too

Your plans look great, the kids are adorable. I hope you have a great time on your trip. I can't wait to hear all about the Beach Club :thumbsup2.

Amy, sounds like a great day. Although Mark and I only do half a day at DHS (he won't do TOT since his surgery and I don't do R&R anymore), we are with your DS and LOVE the Animation Studio and drawing a character.

I really want to know how you like 50's Prime Time this time around. We cancelled it in September but I want to get it back on for this year.

Love it!

From left to right - Wondering, Coping Praying?!?!?

It doesn't seem there is as much to do there as other parks but what we do, we really love!

Crossing my fingers for a good meal at Sci Fi!

The drawing class is such a unique Disney attraction! Alex doesn't have the patience for it but it's a can't miss for Zach!

Love it!

:lmao: That's so funny MeMom! I hadn't really noticed what the other people were doing in that picture - that little boy definitely looks like he's praying!

We just got home from my DS10's hockey tournament- it was a long weekend but they won the championship :yay:
I was so looking forward to seeing a new update when we got home.
My boys love DHS too. Our favorite is RnRC but DS14 won't go anymore.:sad1:
They all love the new Star Tours too.
We walked to DHS from the BC when we stayed there. It is a nice walk.
Sci-Fi is also a favorite of ours. I can't wait for my mom and dad to see it this year.

Deb :)

Hurray for just two months!!! It will fly by!!!

Love all your pics from DHS -- so much fun to be had there!

It'll be here before we know it!! DHS will be a great way to start the trip... after a day of lounging at SAB! :thumbsup2

Yay for your DS! :thumbsup2 It's funny how some kids are more afraid of rides as they get older. Alex used to LOVE ToT, then he didn't like it AT ALL, now he seems to be warming up to it a bit. :confused3

Love the walk to DHS! :cloud9:

First a funny story... Yesterday we were in the car, getting ready to take the boys to a batting cage for a little while. We'd never been there so the kids didn't know what to expect, which always means a lot of questions from Alex. Alex asked us, "Will the cast members be watching us while we hit?" :rotfl: Tim turned to me and said, "I'm sure that's going on the DIS!" Darn right!

Today is the first day of the boys' February vacation week and let me tell you, it's putting ants in my pants! I want to pull everything out and start packing... TODAY!

I did pull out the boys' shorts to see what we have and what we need. I think everything still fits them, minus a few pairs that Zach wore last year that were almost too small then. I may pick up a few pairs, but they like the nylon athletic shorts that are really inexpensive at Target. They have PLENTY of t-shirts. They have several Disney shirts each (that they really only wear at Disney now :sad2:) and a ton of sports t-shirts so we're fine there. I've ordered them each a new bathing suit and rash guard shirt. I also ordered them new crocs a while back that they have been wearing now & then.

Since the kids still don't know about the trip, I can't go too crazy this week but I am planning to go through the toiletries, meds, first aid, etc. to make sure we have what we need.

We're finally expecting some substantial snow this week too! Unfortunately it won't mean a snow day since the kids are already home. Hopefully it won't cause any delays for Zach's karate camp. The biggest snow storm we've had this year was on Halloween!

I'll be back with a Magic Kingdom post later in the week!

Everyone is a cast member:laughing:
My kids were on vacation last week. We went to NH skiing and the mtn. was empty. Somebody said NH was in school.
Target has a lot of summer clothes out already I was gonna go through clothes this week to see what we need. They did get some new stuff in August so I think I'm in good shape.
Have you decided when you're telling the boys?
Wow snow- what does that look like again? I can't complain b/c I hate winter. The only reason we don't live in Florida is the kids. When they go to college we're going south.

I always thought NH had off from school during President's week? Did they change that because of the crowded skiing conditions. All I remember is President's week was the week where you NEVER wanted to ski in NH!

That comment about the CM's is too cute and, OF COURSE, it should go right on the DIS! :rotfl2:

Have a nice vacation and try not to go too crazy with the packing, although I don't blame you one bit for wanting to start! :goodvibes

Getting all caught up! Wow, I am always amazed at how organized you are!!! :thumbsup2 I wish I could have just an ounce of that skill when it comes to my disney planning.

Your DHS day looks great. I want to walk over to there from the Boardwalk this time. Jeremy never wanted to at Thanksgiving as he loves riding the boats. :confused3 I might let him and Tom ride this time and I will walk.

Can't wait to hear more of your plans.

Funny that the mountain was empty... Most of NH has this week off, I think, but I thought a lot of the mountains were really busy because of MA vacation weeks & others within driving distance.

Still not sure when we're telling the boys! :rolleyes1

LOL...cast members at the batting cages. Too cute! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Here in Southern NH, we've always had the last week of Feb (sometimes into March) & last week of April (sometimes into May) off. I think it varies some in other parts of NH. It's nice because a lot of New England has President's week so we avoid those crowds when we travel. :goodvibes

It's fun to be organized about Disney stuff! I wish I was as organized about other things.

You should definitely take the walk to DHS - I bet you'll beat the boat!

I know all the talk now is about the snow we MAY get this week. Yes the last big storm was Oct. when we were trying to get back home from Disney.:)
We keep dodging the snow bullet but we may not dodge it this week. We shall see. I can hear Cody saying "figures we get a storm when we are on vacation".:rotfl:

You are too funny about getting things out since the boys are on vacation. Good idea though. Can never start too soon.;)

Cody bought some new sun glasses last week when I bought my new Nikes. He wants to buy some new sneakers also.

Any other plans with the boys this week??

I wish all of life was filled with cast members.

Have a nice week of February vacation and hopefully you won't be snowed in with two hyper boys. :goodvibes

I'm with Jackie, I wish all of life was filled with cast members! I'm thankful that you are a bit organized...thanks to you I've got 3 new rash guards in the mail with 25% off and free shipping. It made a buy 2 get one free purchase! And heavens knows burn boy Eric needed new ones in a big big way and even Evan was excited to pick one out. :thumbsup2

I wish we didn't have a full week off over President's week. I feel like we have Christmas break, then mid winter and then spring...when do they go to school for any significant period of time? :confused3

A proud DIS mom moment! :goodvibes

Clothing my boys was pretty easy. Shorts and t-shirts, and luckily they got lots of hand-me-downs. :thumbsup2 Girls are a little more complicated. :cutie:

Sorry for your snow. It was beautiful here yesterday, but I think we're supposed to have storms today.
