it worked - I got a PIN too

I have been lucky enough to get several PINs, postcards and emails, since '07 (we used one in '09), but so far we hadn't gotten any good for our dates this October. I priced it out on the Disney site and still no PIN. So two days ago we tried a new way - we had DBF request a planning DVD on the site and voila, 48 hrs later he got a 30% off PIN email for our dates. I've always been the one to make the reservations, even on our extended family trip in '07. Add a new name and it works.

The PIN email subject says "Check out this magical offer, X family." And:

Now all I have to do is hope Free Dining comes along and I can dump this discount for that one.

Congratulations! I'd love to get that PIN for our October trip, but, like you, I'd dump it if FD is offered again.

Wow, great PIN! I got one a while ago that covered those same dates for 10% off. Not awesome, but it's the only thing we've gotten, so I grabbed it up.

Still have my fingers crossed for FD though.

All of my planning on Disney's website paid off too. I received a PIN on Wed or Thurs. It's not the greatest...20%, but they were able to apply it to my dates in November even though it was for October (but said to ask about other dates). I'll take certainly take it, but I'm still hoping FD or even a better discount code.
