It will not mail me my "forgtten password"

I am momandseandodisney here, I do the thing where it says put your email addy here and we will send you your log in info - it has been over 24 hours now? What do I do?

The same thing happened to me as well. I had to re-register with a new name to be able to log on. I lost my ears and everything. I sent the same type of emails as you state above, but after 48 hours they were sent back to me saying undeliverable. Go ahead and re-register.

Do you have a spam filter on your computer? If so turn that off completely and try again to get your password (or a replacement) sent to you.

Email a moderator/admin.

I reset my cookies, and couldn't remember my password, and the emails wouldn't come.

I found an email address for a moderator (can't remember who or how, but it was on the boards somewhere), and they reset my password for me, so I wouldn't loose all of my posts and messages.
