It seems the free dining dates may have changed a bit...or not...?

No problem! And now that you have it on paper there is nothing left to do but wait and enjoy! :thumbsup2

This sounds confusing, why does it show 1 quick service per person per day.. Mine shows the same and I was going to question them why it doesnt show 2 pp per say??

Just curious as to where you go to see these details? I logged in online and I don't get that in depth of details. Just says, "Vacation Package Name: Magic Your Way Package Plus Quick-Service Dining". I would like to check myself also.

It was in the very 1st confirmation email that I received from "Walt Disney Travel Company, Inc."

The email title was "Walt Disney Travel Company Reservation XXXXXX"

There is a blue embedded link in the email that says "reservation". If you click on that link it will give you every detail of your reservations including special requests, voucher info, package info, your travel party, length of stay and everything that is included :thumbsup2

I was looking at bookings just last night and hubby and I decided that the free dining was the clincher for staying on property. So I go to book this morn and our arrival date is no longer offered!! So my question is, is there even a remote chance they will move the dates around again?! We were looking at checking in on Dec 16th, and no, we can't go down a day early because of dd's finals. I guess maybe I could go on the 15th and the others could join me on the 16th , but not sure if that is all worth it. We can get 2 rooms at the Swan for less than 1 Disney room for 5 people. Maybe we should just do that. Any thoughts? I am in complete shock at how our plans have changed in less than 24 hrs. Any words of advice?

No, like someone said previously, Disney made a mistake and had to go back and change their dates. I am a travel agent and was in shock when they first announced that we could get free dining for folks for Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, President's week, and our spring break in March (which is spring break for a LOT of school districts around the country.) If we quoted someone and they did not book they can NOT get the free dining for the original dates. If we booked a trip, or at least held a booking, with those dates than those folks are in. I have clients who were 12/20-12/30, I backed them up to check in on 12/17 and it actually saved them a ton of money with free dining. But if you missed it, you are too late and they aren't going to change it back. I would say yes, if some in your party can check in on 12/15 you may be able to make it work.

:confused3 I still don't see that. My email was just titled "your reservation confirmation" and it was from disney. It doesn't give me any in depth details like that. Just says a few basic information. I'm so confused.

I never got one that says "your reservation confirmation"
I just went throught all my emails from Disney and I have some that are titled
" invoice- reservations XXXXXXX"
and some that say
"Walt Disney Travel Company Reservation- XXXXXXXX" This is the one that has all the details in the blue embedded "reservation"
:confused3

I'm still wondering why FD isn't being offered February 3 through 10. What is happening that week that it wouldn't be included? Any ideas?

Okay, I'm currently booked with a one night November 12-13 and then a separate reservation from November 13-19 to get free dining. Now, the free dining has been changed to November 12-17. So.... If I call and drop the one night and extend the November 13-19 to November 12-19, I should still get the free dining for the entire trip, correct?

Correct, but the resort that you are staying at currently has to have availability for Nov 12-19 under the FD promotion. I was not able to drop my room-only date, since there was no more availability for the resort that we are staying at under the FD promotion. Hope this helps.

Did you book through the disney website?

I would love to know the answer to this also!!!!!

There is a dance competition the 4 and 5 and a cheer competition the 11 and 12 but I don't see why the dance would cause that week to be black out as the cheer didn't cause the next week to be black out.

I've been asking this and no one seems to know why or if anything major is going on.

Glad to finally know I'm not the only one asking about this.
