It really is happening!

So, I went in May to have a Site Inspection. I went with 3 dear friends who I'm sure will play a big part in all of the planning. We met with Joe who went over all of the options, and then took us on a tour of our locations we had an interest in.

Karl and I really didn't have our heart set on any space in particular for the actual ceremony. We would love an outdoor locaiton, but let me just say, once I saw the WP, I didn't need to go anywhere else. The pictures just do not do this place justice! It was breathtaking.

We then headed over to Epcot. It's my absolute favorite park and I knew I wanted this to be the locale for the reception. I wasn't sure however, where. I was torn between the Italy Isola and having no dancing, or the Living Seas. I think again, taking into consideration heat/weather etc, we are going to go forward with the Living Seas, and then move out to the French Island for a Dessert Party.

I did find my dress! Which was really exciting for me! My mom was in town, so we went ahead and got that right away while she was here. I fell in LOVE with the dress and think it will fit well with a fall wedding.

We also picked out bridesmaids dresses - all the girls picked the same ones,even though they could do whatever they liked. Here is the link from Davids.

Now - just to try and figure out a theme. Since we'll be in the Living Seas, I'm not quite sure how to incorporate the red. Red is the color since Karl is a fireman, and well, he is doing the Disney Wedding, so we need to incorporate the fire service somehow - any ides?

Congratulations!!! Isn't Joe the best??? I met him when I was originally planning a custom for my site inspection - I wanted to take him home!
Everything sounds great - you're dress is so pretty. I am also having apple as my color and using the same BM dresses as you are! They look so nice in the apple color!!!
The only theme assistance I can offer since it's a Disney wedding and your DF is a fireman - maybe some 101 Dalmations touches??? Though you'll be in the Living Seas - not sure how that ties in.....

i love all of your items. i had an idea for how to incorporate your red color with the living seas. how about fire and ice

you can do like since he is the firefighter you can be the water (ice) you can do our girls in red and the boys in blue. and flowrrs to match and do some tables with like crystal ice looking things and others with red stalk like flowers.

anoother idea i has was blue and read water them weddings i see abloy of people so red coral and that is beautiful like the cake can be blue with the red coral detail??
