It REALLY is a small world!!

So, DH, myself and our two boys were in SE Florida on business. We decided to drive up to Disney on Saturday and do the MK and drive back the next day. We got last minute reservations at the Coronado (never stayed there before).

So, we're standing in line for the HM. (Not five minutes before that I had said that I wished I had a green ribbon. ) Anyway, the woman next to us in line and I start having a conversation about sunglasses. I, like the geek that I am, have to change from prescription glasses to prescription sunglasses every two minutes when I'm at WDW. She shows me the very cool magnetic shades that she can put on her glasses and take off in the blink of an eye. Well, in the conversation, she mentioned a Disney website she frequents. I asked her which one. She replied "The DIS". I said, "I'm Bichon Barb! Who are you?" It was Mackey Mouse! She is very nice (and pretty too!)

Hmmmm, she was supposed to fly back to Boston yesterday. Due to the snow, I wonder if she ever made it back? Unfortunately we did.

How cool to actually meet a DISer at WDW. I STILL haven't had that experience, despite the lime ribbons.

What's so funny about it is that we were only on Disney property from about 11:00 a.m. Saturday to about noon on Sunday!

How cool to meet someone at WDW like that..Did not meet a DIS'er while in the world last Sept. But I keep my lime green ribbon on my backpack anyways.......just in case. I see alot of NJ DIS'ers on here.....maybe one of these days I will bump into someone.

SMall world........when we were there in 1996 with DS 8yrs old and DD 6yrs old , we were standing waiting for the Toy Story Parade and looked across the street, and a family from our church were right across the street !! Neither of us knew the other was going to be there !!

Last week while I was there I met Dan Murphy, Ray Sharpton, DVCMary and a couple of other Dis'ers at the Boardwalk. I was just coming back after doing some shopping and they were standing in the lobby after a meet(I didn't pay close enough attention to the boards before I left). I recognized Dan and went and said hi. It was fun to meet people that I have known on the boards for 2 1/2yrs. I also saw someone wlking around in a Dis green shirt but he was too far ahead of me to catch up to him.

I often find DIS'ers at WDW, and always nice to meet up with them, as wdwnutze said above. Wear that lime green!!!!
