I tend to lurk on the Disboards and recently discovered the WISH area. I was volunteering for the City of Oaks Marathon in Raleigh today and ended up being across the street from another DisBoards/WISH poster (MouseDogMom - hi Jackie!!). It is such a small world. Looking forward to getting to know y'all better!

That's funny. We had brunch at Cafe Carolina and there were a lot of runners in there with their acorn medals on. It looks like a neat race and a neat medal.

IamTrike - LOVE brunch at Cafe Carolina. One of my favorite places to go after our Saturday Galloway runs. Unfortunately, we were trapped on the course until almost 2:00. Once they cleared us, I just wanted to get as far away from the race area as I could!

Unfortunately, we're not gonna be able to go down in January.

Right now, my spring race schedule may or may not include the 26.2 with Donna in Jacksonville, FL, Crystal Coast in Morehead City, the NC Half Marathon at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the new RunRaleigh Half in April.
