Okay,
So basically I've been writing my trip reports backwards.

Now on to the May report!

As all my trips start out, this one was for auditions as well, WDW and HK!

I actually ended up staying on property this time around (which is pretty rare). I've stayed at every value resort except for ASSports. This time around I stayed at Pop Century!

I really liked this hotel. The decorations were fantastic. I actually spent the first night just walking around the hotel and catching the highest shots of fireworks from the hotel.

Anywho...
First day there was an audition day. I got to the hotel around 1130am so I unpacked and grabbed some lunch real quick before getting ready. I got a hold of Katt and we met at the audition facility (this is our actual first meeting in real life). Katt and I met on tumblr based on our interests in disney, becoming disney performers, and dance. It was nice to actually go into the audition knowing someone for once!

Audition 1:
So this was by far the shortest and probably least exciting audition I've ever been to. They let us into the height/info room early because so many people were already in line waiting. We were in the first group so they pulled us into the next room early as well because there were TOO MANY people to fit in the first room. We got to the next room and just sat around and waited for a casting director to come in. As always we were scoping out the competition while waiting. Finally, a director came in and told us that because there were so many people that he would just be looking at our faces (no movement would be taught). Katt and I were pretty disappointed at that. After about 5 minutes he thanked everyone and only called a few numbers. Unfortunately ours were not called, but we weren't too disappointed since it was based solely on our faces/bodies. As we were heading out, we noticed there was still a massive line of hopefuls getting checked in.

Don't worry, there is plenty more to come, especially some awesome meet and greets with new characters I haven't encountered before!

Okay so that night I basically just wandered around the hotel taking crappy pictures with my cell phone.

So the next morning I got up bright and early to meet Katt at MK. Of course we were there in plenty of time for rope drop ( you are LATE if you miss it!). There were a few things I really wanted to do since I hadn't been to the park in a while, I hadn't really seen New Fantasyland in the day time so we wondered through over there. I also really wanted to ride the new Little Mermaid ride so we did and then got wet with Ariel. I also am obsessed with pirates of the Caribbean so it was required for us to hop on that. We danced at move it shake it and rode the mountains.

I finally got to meet gaston which was a real treat! We watched the 3:00 parade from the front entrance and then raced back to our hotels to change and get to the audition.

Audition 2: HK

So this audition was for HongKong. There were only about 100 ladies there and quite a few of them were friends with some very prominent face characters! We were taught a routine and then waited for numbers to be called. Only a few were selected to perform the routine again for recording. We did not get selected but it made me feel better that those with character jobs already also didn't get selected.

So we headed back to MK for a few more things. I met tiana and naveen for the first time this trip as well. We stayed for wishes then said our goodbyes and headed to our respective hotels before flying out the next day.

All in all it was probably my favorite trip from this year! So many memories!!!
