We went to a block party on Saturday to welcome 2 new sets of neighbours that moved in during the last 2 weeks of June. As I was talking to the ones that live next door to us I found out that the husband who is a RCMP officer is friends with this other RCMP officer that I lived beside for 18 years when I was growing up. Their foster daughter is good friends with the daughter of one of my co-workers and the mother works with 3 of my former co-workers from my first job.
And to get even weirder, the other set of neighbours used to live next door to the fiancee of another coworker that I work with and the dog is the sister of the one that my coworker has! (Did that make any sense???)
I'm surprised we didn't find out we were actually related or something! And I just have to say that they are so incredibly nice so I am quite happy (although if you had lived next to my previous neighbours almost anything would be an improvement!).
