Just thought I'd throw in a quick update on our Easter holiday
DH called our travel insurance company today, just to make sure he was fully covered. Although they covered him last year, M&S said that they would cover anything on the annual policy NOT related to his benign tumour this time
So, we set off on an internet and phone call search for someone to insure him
Spent most of the day 'surfing'
searched the 'Bacup' site, as I've found info on there before, and found a useful UK based Meningioma support site that is fairly new
Well, quotes varied between £650
: and £88 so, of course, we've gone for the £88 'Age Concern' figure
Just a note to anyone with a medical condition, it pays to ring round before giving up in despair

), when you last had any surgery / treatment and whether you're on a waiting list for anything. One company asked whether he was still allowed to drive............. ! Couldn't quite get my head around this one as he won't be driving on our trip even though he has a valid license and has been told he can continue as long as he doesn't have any fits
