It pays to be nice to CMs

Not that I wouldn't normally be nice but last night I went to the DS to get pins and started chatting with a CM. We were there for quite a while so she asked to hold my basket behind the counter. As I was setting it down she pulls out a pair of black Mickey pants from behind the counter and asks if I like them. Of course I do and she says they were returned from the catalog and I could have them for $1.99. She then pulls out a zip up Mickey sweater and says I can have it for $2.99! I couldn't believe it. Aparently all catalog returns they can sell in the store and don't send back. If I hadn't talked with her I never would have known.

Dawn I think I was just in the right place at the right time. Even if she hadn't pulled out those treasures I had fun talking to her. We talked WDW of course and her upcoming cruise.

I've been lucky sometimes too - Any catalog item returned to the store, they sell it at half off - That's why I always look around the counter when I am in the store - Don't ya love a great bargain!

I've gotten some neat things that way too. The CM's will sometimes point things out I might have missed.

We only have one in central Ohio anymore. It's located at the City Center Mall in downtown Columbus. I don't usually make it downtown very often so I tend to spend quite a bit when I'm there.

Bobcat~That is the one that I go to also..I do live over an hour away so I don't make it that often!!! We do go to Tuttle mall a lot though!!!

Hi there,I agree ...it does "pay" to be nice with the CM's..even if ther isn't a pay off...the reward is within...but I must say it does help.Some people are just having a bad day,I try to cheer them up & if that does not work then I call back & talk with someone else.Alittle Pixie dust always seems to work...
