I had started a thread about Hoop Dee Doo show..asking if it was worth it and such. And then when I was reading the awesome post you all so kindly added It struck me... I didn't even ask. Do you have to be at or pay to go into DW? We do not want to do DW because we are actually only staying in Orlando a few days/nights prior to our Disney Cruise. So once again I am relying on you great bunch of folks to put my mind at ease. Thank you in advance.

Nope- don't worry. It's at fort wilderness which is just seen as a resort and u dont have to pay to go to any of the resorts.

No you do not have to pay theme park admission to go to the Hoop Dee Doo Show. The show is at Fort Wilderness. You will need to take a FW bus from a theme park or DTD in order to get there. A bus from a theme park does not require admission either. The bus terminals are outside of the admission gates!!

First of all WHEW.....Big happy faces Second what bus? And Where would we find this bus at? We are staying at the Tuscan style Hilton Vacation condos..would we take a bus from there? Sorry for so many questions.

You drive to FW bus stop and get on the bus to take you to the HDDR. Ask when you call to make your ADR's they will tell you.

If you get a bus from a park you'll have to pay for parking at that park.

Thai is what I would do. You drive to the front of FW, where you park, and they have a bus that will take you back. You probably will have to have your reservation confirmation number.

If you're going to any of the four theme parks inside Disney World, and you're not staying at a Disney resort, you need to pay to park in the theme park lot. So, the only way you'd be able to get to HDDR without paying for parking is to park in the Fort Wilderness lot, and take the internal FW bus to Pioneer Hall.
