Happy Fourth of July!
We woke up early even though we didn't have PS til 10:45. We had a pastry in the room and decided to go take some pictures and walk to Fantasia Gardens to play a quick round of minigolf.
We walked over to the minigolf - they don't open until 10 am. Nuts. The kids played on the playground at the Dolphin then we left for Chef Mickey's.
We arrived at 10:15 and asked if we could be seated early. She said probably not but wait anyway. The kids got autographs from Goofy and then our table was ready (10:30).
Before we could hit the buffet, Chip and Dale came to the table. Jr. Stitch is starving and not happy that these characters are delaying his breakfast. After autographs and photos, we get full plates of Mickey waffles and eggs. Everything was SO yummy.
The characters were awesome. They kept coming back over and over. Our princess told Dale to sit next to me. He sat down at the table and gave me a few kisses. Our server came by and he ordered some coffee. The kids loved it. We twirled our napkins and had a good time.
We took the boat to Fort Wilderness and the kids got their pony rides. I was wearing slides so my hubby had to walk the kids around - 4 round trips! They had never been on a real horse before so they enjoyed this.
We went to Downtown Disney to see the toy stores. We caught the bus to the Poly. EVERYONE was driving to the Poly and we got stuck in very slow moving traffic. We got off the bus at 7:50 (our PS time!) and sprinted through the Poly. We requested a Fworks table, took our beeper and went to look at the hotel. We found our way to the beach and the CMs were asking for resort IDs. One family was not staying at the Poly and was asked to leave and they were NOT leaving. We didn't stick around to see what happened because our beeper went off. They couldn't possibly have a fworks table already? We did some more running back to OHanas and were led to our table. We were front and center in front of the castle. The food was good - the kids aren't big meat eaters. This meal was more for Dad and for the ambience.
After the fireworks, my oldest son said "Mom. It just cannot get any better than this. This is just the best." That is when I told them that we had Cinderella's breakfast PS and that tomorrow, we were having breakfast in the castle.
