Both of those venues look beautiful. I was also married in March (3/3) and did a pastel color scheme. Here is a neat tool (although there aren't a ton of colors where you can drag color swatches next to each other http://www.blissweddings.com/wedding-color-palette/ I think a soft pink or another pastel would be pretty with it too. I know I totally obsessed over a theme at first and then ended up just picking all the different items I liked and everything eventually came together
We had a Hollywood theme to our at-home reception and I love the idea of adding a vintage feel to it. Are you going to go that direction with your dress too?

For the parasols you should check out this web site: http://www.asianideas.com/ I used them for my wedding (one of my signature pictures shows our parasols) and they were really reasonable priced. Although, I am sure in LA you could probably get them locally a lot easier than I could here in MI.
Port Orleans Riverside is our favorite resort, we stay there on most trips. It is a great place to stay, but because of its size you should definitely request a certain building depending on what you want to be close to during your stay. The mansion are more romantic and secluded, but you can still get one close to a bus stop. We usually request Alligator Bayou buildings 14 or 15 because we like to be closer to the main building with the food court and restaurant plus it is close to the first bus stop. Another great thing about the hotel are all the pools spread throughout the resort.
I couldn't help it, I looked into a Disney wedding here in California and..I think I may be leaning towards one. I am still keeping my options open, just enjoying time being engaged but I am starting to lean towards a Disney wedding after all. If not then it will most likely be at the Castle Green. I didn't know there were so many options of where to get married! My fiance and I will be planning this mostly on our own but my mother is positively giddy and I am happy I can finally peruse wedding magazines without feeling odd about it.
I went on that link you sent and there is the most adorable mint umbrella that I think will look great and those fans on that link gave me a great idea to throw a sort of Bridesmaid tea party and have those fans set on the table with some delicate roses on the side.Thanks!
I am still looking at dresses and talked it over with a few friends, I am going to bring a picture of the Charlotte dress just for some ideas but also try some styles out too. Although everything is kind of low key, the way things are getting my apartment may be "Wedding Headquarters"
I know that Disney is willing to help you create any vision that you have for your wedding into things. I have seen several reports on weddings at the Rose Garden Gazebo and they were beautiful.
