We are there Sept 29 til Oct 10 th - so i best take alot of pics the first and second day if this is true

LET ME KNOW

Thanks :thumbsup2

It took them awhile to put up the decorations. I imagine it will take them time to get them down. But who knows when they are going to start taking them down and what stays and what goes.

Indeed, no details with regards to the current 'happiest' decorations have been released. They've kinda grown on me, I will be a little sad to see them go.

What next as far as promotion type stuff for WDW, since the Happiest Celebration is over??? Anyone :confused3

It's the Million Wishes thing...I guess CM's will pick people around WDW and DL and grant wishes. From what I have read it includes being in a parade or maybe you would get a Golden fast pass. The one I want is to spend a night in Cinderellas castle...I could die after that!

ME TOO princess: !!!!

:tink: I would really like it if the decorations on the castle would stay!!!! I could do without the stained glass thingy, but the rest are beautiful!!
I dunno, we'll see.

I agree! I'd love to see the castle the way it was intended to be when I bring dd2 for the first time. :goodvibes

I like the decorated castle better than the classic castle, including the oval that shows the other castles. It's more special, and you feel like there's a celebration. I am afraid that the old castle will seem a bit boring now.

You get use to the castle looking so different than they change it and you have to see if you like the new one or the old one. We saw them one time changing parts of the castle which they have covered till completed.  party: party: party:

as long as they don't do the Birthday cake thing again-I couldn't wait until they took all that away.

It looked nasty ..... it was our first time at WDW and I was underwhelmed to say the least ... thankfully I have seen it in all its natural glory since ...

This thread "Old Disney Park Photos" is pretty fun to look at- it includes several pictures of the "pepto-castle" as my parents referred to it :rotfl: I didn't mind it though- granted, I was in middle/jr high school at the time and thought that it was just fun to look at :goodvibes

I think I'm the only one that thought it was fun to see.

No I liked it too...in fact I made a special trip down when I lived in MA in order to see it in person..by myself even.

We were there when they had the birthday cake castle. It was nice to look at but I by the end of the trip I just really wanted to see the 'real' castle. Also it was DH then DBF first trip and I wanted him to see the real castle also.
